According to Antiwar.com there has been 2199 American deaths since the War in Iraq began in 2003.

Our President said that "I like to tell people when the final history is written on Iraq, it will look like just a comma because there is-my point is, there's a strong will for democracy".

Amreica, am I the only one that don't get it or what?

How can this man who got out of Vietnam see NY Times, but has the nerve to start a war that didn't need to be and killed our sons and daughters, then dismiss it with a comma.

ABC has promoted a documentary based on the 9/11 Commission's report, it contains fabricated scenes, which cast the Clinton administration officials in a negative light.

Letters have been written by both former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and former National Security Adviser Samuel Berger. The letter calls on Thomas Kean, 9/11 Commission Chairman and co-executive producer of Path to 9/11, to exert his “influence to persuade ABC to withdraw the broadcast.

John Beug, the widowed husband of Carolyn Beug who was on the plane that slammed into 1 World Trade Center, has written a letter to ABC chief Bob Iger pleading with him not to run the film.

Dear Mr. Iger,

I have seen the advertisements for and read the press coverage of ABC’s film, “The Path to 9/11,” that your network plans to air this Sunday and Monday to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks. I am writing to express my concern and deep reservations about this film and to ask you, out of respect for the victims of 9/11 and their families, not to air it.

My wife worked for the Walt Disney Corporation and was a victim of the terrorist attacks as a passenger on American Airlines Flight 11. I have great respect for you and your company and I know that you must have worked hard to make a good film. Admittedly, I have not seen it. However, accounts from those who have suggest that it contains inaccurate and invented scenes. It seems to me that fictionalizing this tragedy does not honor the memory of those who were lost on September 11th.

Given the gravity of this event for our nation and the personal loss I suffered, I believe it is critically important that we do everything possible to prevent another 9/11. That begins with making sure that we are united in our understanding of what we could have done better in the years, months and weeks leading up to the attacks of 2001. I am deeply concerned that Americans will watch this film and not fully understand –- or be led to misunderstand -– the true history of this tragedy.

I feel the 9/11 Commission Report was a correct and very responsible accounting of the terrorist attacks of 2001. Since “The Path to 9/11” deviates from this report in key instances, I strongly and respectfully urge you not to air this film.

I would like to believe that every man and woman on this earth has some type of morals and if not, I know that GOD will deal with that.

I just can't see how just 7 years ago every Evangelical Christian, Republican and Neocon was talking about how former President Clinton lacked morals and how America needed a person in the White House with those qualities.

Well now that we have a Republican in office and a majority House and Senate, my question is where's the morals of these people?

I'm not GOD, so I'm not going to condemn anyone, but there seems to be a decay in this President morals, that's if he had any in the first place.

We always hear this man say, the war in Iraq is a war on terror. Now who can still say that he is right?

I don't believe anyone in this Administration, House or Senate seems to be honest and frank with the American People and I don't think they have our best interest at heart.

Did you know that former President Bush is The man who originally recruited Hussein as an American ally. He thought Hussein would go against the Islamic fundamentalism of Iran and he did.

Our President has yet to give us the truth and moral reasons as to why we went to war with Iraq. Don't that bother you America?

We have lost over 2,600 Americans, 19,000 have been injured and we have given away over $320 billion for Bush lies.


Where's the morals when Bush and his Administraion, the House and the Senate cut funds that would help Americans who are less fortunate, because he has us in a wasteful mess in Iraq.

Where's the morals when he tells us that we fight them over their, so that we don't have to fight them over here. Our so called Homeland security is being underfunded and short changed by the Iraq war.

This President tells us that all Americans must do their part, then he gives tax breaks to the rich. $285 billion over five years, not including an expected extension of the Alternative Minimum Tax - would more than negate the savings from cuts to domestic programs, which largely benefit low- and middle-income Americans.

Just last Month the House passed a bill that would give a death tax to the rich. This was done on the back of a minimum wage increase for the average American and Bush supported this. Where's the morals ?

Where's the morals when the Bush administration eased rules on reporting legal toxin releases which has compromised the public's right to know about possible health risks in their neighborhoods.

Where's the morals when Bush's EPA was to busy to set toxic air pollution standards for literally dozens of industries, including manufacturers of plastics, paints, chemicals and pesticides. It seems that they were to busy cutting deals with the polluters.

Bush told us that he didn't know how bad Hurrcane Katrina would be, then we find out In the 48 hours before Hurricane Katrina hit, the White House received detailed warnings about the storm's likely impact, including eerily prescient predictions of breached levees, massive flooding, and major losses of life and property, documents show. Where's the morals?

Any time people oppose this man and his administration, they are destroyed by Fox News, Talk Radio, his Administration and the Republican party, just look at how they destroyed Valerie Plame just because President Bush directed Cheney to counter what former Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson had said about the war in Iraq and yellowcake.

Now do you really think that former President Clinton morals were worse than the President we have in office now?

CONGRESS WILLING TO SUPPORT THE PRESIDENT WITH MONEY TO FIGHT IN IRAQ BUT NOT FOR THE TROOPS INJURED

George Zitnay, co-founder of the Brain Injury Center, asked for $19 million, and 34 Democratic and six Republican members of Congress signed a letter endorsing the budget request.

Zitnay said that body armor saves troops caught in blasts but leaves many with brain damage. "Traumatic brain injury is the signature injury of the war on terrorism," he testified before a Senate subcommittee in May.

Preliminary research by the center shows that about 10% of all troops in Iraq, and up to 20% of front line infantry troops, suffer concussions during combat tours. Many experience headaches, disturbed sleep, memory loss and behavior issues after coming home, the research shows.

The center urged the Pentagon to screen all troops returning from Iraq in order to treat symptoms and create a database of brain injury victims. Scientists say multiple concussions can cause permanent brain damage.

Now why is it that we can pay for a war, but refuse to take care of the injured when they are no longer able to fight for this country America?

172nd Stryker Brigade, "How come we are just being told"

The Alaska-based 172nd Stryker Brigade based in the Mosul area of Iraq were told that instead of going home after a year they would stay in Iraq for four more months.

The response from the troops were, "How come you're just now telling us?"

The commander of the U.S. forces in Iraq requested to extend their deployment and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld approved it.

I thought we were going to cut back on the troops in Iraq this year?

Is this right to do to a brigade after spending a year in Iraq, just to increased the brigades from 15 to 16?

Just last thursday a soldier from the 172nd from Maine was killed in the town of Bayji.

I can't understand this, what say you America?

August 6, 2001: President Bush receives classified intelligence briefings at his Crawford, Texas ranch indicating that bin Laden might be planning to hijack commercial airliners. The memo read to him is titled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in US", and the entire memo focuses on the possibility of terrorist attacks inside the US. National Security Advisor Rice later claims the memo was "fuzzy and thin" and only 1 and a half pages long (his normal daily security briefings run two or three pages). The contents have never been made public. However, a Congressional report later describes what is likely this memo (they call it "a closely held intelligence report for senior government officials" presented in early August 2001): it mentions "that members of al-Qaeda, including some US citizens, had resided in or traveled to the US for years and that the group apparently maintained a support structure here. The report cited uncorroborated information obtained in 1998 that Osama bin Laden wanted to hijack airplanes to gain the release of US-held extremists; FBI judgments about patterns of activity consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks and the number of bin Laden-related investigations underway; as well as information acquired in May 2001 that indicated a group of bin Laden supporters was planning attacks in the US with explosives." [Senate Intelligence Committee, 9/18/02] Incredibly, the New York Times later reports that Bush "broke off from work early and spent most of the day fishing"

May 15, 2002: The Bush Administration is embarrassed when the CBS Evening News reveals that Bush had been warned about al-Qaeda domestic attacks in August 2001. Bush had repeatedly said that he had "no warning" of any kind.

Remember President Bush spent most of August 2001 at his Crawford, Texas, ranch, nearly setting a record for the longest presidential vacation. While it is billed a "working vacation."

We have a President that see fault in a paper that talks about SWIFT, which everyone already knows about, a President who gives the green light for his Administration to go after Valerie Plame.

Former Assistant Secretary of State for Intelligence and Research Carl Ford, appearing before the The Senate Democratic Policy Committee, called upon policy makers to accept part of the blame for intelligence failures, telling them to "not accept the crap we give you."

When you go to the ballot box in November, remember who has given you a bunch of crap with this pre-war intelligence in Iraq and this lack of scrutiny of Iraq intelligence by the Republican-led Senate.

This is what we got from our House and Senate last week. They passed a bill to cut the estate tax for the rich and famous, while the wage increase for the have nots, just slip right on away.
I find this administration, this House and this Senate offensive to the American People, who voted these people into office for the best of this country, not for the best of the rich in this country.

When in the world will the Republican party wake up and see that this Administration, House and Senate, are not for us average folks, but for the very rich and well to do. Am I the only one to see this? Am I wrong?

What in God's name is going on, when a group of people continue to vote for a party that is clearly not for the average person, but for the rich. Wake up America, open your eye's, unstop your ears and please see and hear what this Administration, this Republican House and this Republican Senate has done to the average people in this country for the benefit for the rich.

Remember the federal minimum wage has been locked in at $5.15/hour for the past nine years. Only States with the mandate to do the right thing on their agenda, has raised the minimum wage. Our House and Senate has constantly raised their salaries every year right, to compensate for inflation. I guess to them it just dont matter when it comes to compensating for the average workers inflation.

I hear people argue that, small business can not stay in business or stay together, if we raise the minimum wage.

Well I'll just say that if a business can not stay afloat because of a better wage for the average worker, then that business shouldn't hire workers or maybe they shouldn't be in business at all. How can you go into business for yourself, but not be able to pay a decent salary to your employees?

$69 billion tax cut bill raised taxes and tax rates on teenagers with college savings funds

The $69 billion tax cut bill that President Bush signed this week tripled tax rates for teenagers with college savings funds, despite Mr. Bush's 1999 pledge to veto any tax increase. Let's Talk.

Under the new law, teenagers age 14 to 17 with investment income will now be taxed at the same rate as their parents, not at their own rates. Long-term capital gains and dividends that had been taxed at 5 percent will now be taxed at 15 percent. Interest that had been taxed at 10 percent will now be taxed at as much as 35 percent. The bill raised taxes and tax rates on teenagers with college savings funds.

In response to a question about the tax increase on teenagers in the new legislation, the White House issued a statement Friday that made no reference to the tax increase, but recounted the tax cuts the administration has sponsored and stated that President Bush had "reduced taxes on all people who pay income taxes."

Challenged on that point, the White House modified its statement 21 minutes later to say that Mr. Bush had "reduced taxes on virtually all people who pay income taxes."

Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform, told the Times that the increase is "a technical violation of the pledge." The pledge was made to the Republican National Committee.

Bush pledged, "If I were elected president, I will oppose and veto any increase in individual or corporate marginal income tax rates or individual or corporate income tax hikes. . . . I will also oppose any further reduction or elimination of income tax deductions and credits, unless offset dollar for dollar by reducing tax rates."

Mr. Norquist called the bill raising taxes on teenagers with investment income "a technical violation of the pledge" and noted that his group opposes all retroactive tax increases. He pledged to immediately begin a campaign to have the tax increases rescinded.

What in the world are the House, Senate and this President thinking. Did they not know this bill would tripled tax rates for teenagers with college savings funds?

Most important, would Bush have done anything about it if he had not made this pledge and will he reverse it now? What say you America?

Accorrding to Alternet, In 2001, an anonymous White House source leaked top-secret NSA intelligence to reporter Judith Miller that Al Qaida was planning a major attack on the United States. But the story never made it into the paper. Lets Talk.

The Institute for Homeland Security was formed in the northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC, in October 1999.

the US Commission on National Security/21st Century, co-chaired by former Senators Gary Hart (D), and Warren Rudman (R) is issued on January 31, 2001.

The bipartisan report was put together in 1998 by then-President Bill Clinton and then-House Speaker Newt Gingrich. The report has 50 recommendations on how to combat terrorism in the US, but all of them are ignored by the Bush Administration.

Instead, the White House announces in May that it will have Vice President Cheney study the potential problem of domestic terrorism, despite the fact that this commission had just studied the issue for 2 1/2 years. According to Senator Hart, Congress was taking the commission's suggestions seriously, but then, "Frankly, the White House shut it down... The president said 'Please wait, we're going to turn this over to the vice president'... And so Congress moved on to other things, like tax cuts and the issue of the day." Interestingly, both this commission and the Bush Administration were already assuming a new cabinet level National Homeland Security Agency would be enacted eventually even as the general public remained unaware of the term and the concept.

But in May, Bush announced his plan almost as if the Hart-Rudman Commission never existed, as if it hadn't spent millions of dollars, "consulting with experts, visiting 25 countries worldwide."

In all fairness, Bush had this right to do as he saw fit to run this country, but why disregard everything that had been going on for the past 2 and 1/2 years?

Why didn't some one inform Bush about the planned attacks as they did reporter, Judith Miller?

CBS News reports on July 26, 2001 that Attorney General Ashcroft has stopped flying commercial airlines due to a threat assessment, but "neither the FBI nor the Justice Department ... would identify what the threat was, when it was detected or who made it."

Russian President Putin warned the US in August 2001, that suicide pilots are training for attacks on US targets. The head of Russian intelligence also later states, "We had clearly warned them" on several occasions, but they "did not pay the necessary attention."

Remember Britain warned US to expect September 11 al-Qaeda hijackings.

President Bush spent most of August 2001 at his Crawford, Texas, ranch, nearly setting a record for the longest presidential vacation. While it is billed a "working vacation," ABC reports Bush is doing "nothing much" aside from his regular daily intelligence briefings One such unusually long briefing at the start of his trip is a warning that bin Laden is planning to attack in the US, but Bush spends the rest of that day fishing. By the end of his trip, Bush has spent 42 percent of his presidency at vacation spots or en route.

It was reported that a document of evidence that the FBI was on the trail of other members of the Bin Laden family for links to terrorist organisations before and after September 11th was halted by the Bush Administration. Let's Talk.

This document is marked Secret. The Case ID is 199 Eye WF 213 589.199 is FBI code for case type. 9 would be murder. 65 would be espionage. 199 means national security. WF indicates Washington field office special agents were investigating ABL - because of it's relationship with the World Assembly of Muslim Youth, WAMY - a suspected terrorist organisation. ABL is Abdullah Bin Laden, president and treasurer of WAMY.

Omar Awad bin Laden, a nephew of the al Qaeda leader, had been investigated by the FBI because he had lived with Abdullah bin Laden, a leader of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth, which the FBI suspected of being a terrorist organization.

They were just 2 (two), of the 13 relatives of Osama bin Laden, accompanied by bodyguards and associates, who were allowed to leave the United States on a chartered flight eight days after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, according to a passenger manifest.

Remember when Rice, then National Security Advisor on May 16, 2002, said that "I don't think anybody could have predicted that these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center, take another one and slam it into the Pentagon, that they would try to use an airplane as a missile," adding that "even in retrospect" there was "nothing" to suggest that.

President Bush's August 6 briefing: "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in US," is evidence that she forgot or lied. Late August 2001, French intelligence gives a general terrorist warning to the US, apparently its contents echo an Israeli warning from earlier in the month.

On August 27, 2002 Prince Bandar, Saudi ambassador to the US, meets privately for more than an hour with Bush and National Security Advisor Rice in Crawford, Texas. Bandar, his wife (Princess Haifa) and seven of their eight children stay for lunch. Prince Bandar, a longtime friend of the Bush family, donated $1 million to the Bush Presidential Library in College Station, Texas. This relationship later becomes news when it is learned that Princess Haifa, the wife of Prince Bandar, gave between $51,000 and $73,000 to two Saudi families in California who may have financed two of the 9/11 hijackers.

MY THOUGHTS THIS MOTHERS DAY

First I would like to say Happy Mothers Day to all Mothers.

I'm some what confused, and angry these days. First because on this Mothers Day, we will celebrate our Mothers and I thank God that my Mother is still here.

On this day a lot of men and women, including mothers, are in Iraq and Afghanistan, and I wonder how they feel at this point.

On a lot of sites you always here how they, the service men and women volunteered and that's why they are in Iraq or Afghanistan. As if they should have nothing to say about being there, because they knew what might happen when they joined, so they have no voice.

What a bunch of mess that is, when most of the people that feel that way, will never have or don't have what it takes to walk a mile in those people shoes, and they might not even have family members their.

I just don't understand how we can say that we are for America and allow our country to be run into the ground because we believe in a party, or a man who just don't care about the average American, can't anyone see that?

I'm not saying that I'm trying to over throw anything or anybody, but when I use my cell phone or my home phone I do expect some type of privacy.

We don't get into the Presidents personal life with his kids, and he should not get into our personal life with what we say on our phones, or our email for the sake of terrorism.

How can our gorvernment compile information on our kids, who are in school and place that information on a computer. What is the purpose?

For years we as average workers have put up with a minimum wage while watching our House, and Senate give themselves a raise every year. Then we as party loyalist vote them into office time and time again, when they do nothing to help solve the wage problems the oil problems, and the unfair tax problems, while we watch them help themselves and big business all the time.

I'll stop now, because I should feel much better than what I do, because I am blessed and just say good luck and Happy Mothers Day!

According to abc news Russell Tice, a longtime insider at the National Security Agency is the whistleblower that President Bush and others are looking for.

The same day The New York Times broke the story of the NSA eavesdropping without warrants, Tice surfaced as a whistleblower in the agency. He told ABC News that he was a source for the Times reporters. But Tice maintains that his conscience is clear.

There might be a problem with Tice credibility, the NSA revoked Tice's security clearance in May of last year based on what it called psychological concerns and later dismissed him. Tice calls that bunk and says that's the way the NSA deals with troublemakers and whistleblowers.

He is prepared to tell Congress all he knows about the alleged wrongdoing in these programs run by the Defense Department and the NSA in the post-9/11 efforts to go after terrorists. So lets wait and see if our Congress and Senate engage Mr. Tice.

Both the attorney general and the president have lied to the American people about the scope and nature of the NSA's program, said Anthony D. Romero, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union. "It's clearly not focused on international calls and clearly not just focused on terrorists. . . . It's like adding more hay on the haystack to find that one needle." Let's Talk.

The NSA have been secretly collecting phone call records of tens of millions of Americans, including calls made within the United States, since after September 11, 2003. They have been building up the database using records provided by three major phone companies -- AT&T Inc., Verizon Communications Inc. and BellSouth Corp. -- but that the program "does not involve the NSA listening to or recording conversations.

Among major U.S. telecommunications companies, only Qwest Communications International Inc. has refused to help the NSA program.

It violates the Stored Communications Act, Section 2703(c), provides exactly five exceptions that would permit a phone company to disclose to the government the list of calls to or from a subscriber: (i) a warrant; (ii) a court order; (iii) the customer’s consent; (iv) for telemarketing enforcement; or (v) by administrative subpoena.

One government lawyer who has participated in negotiations with telecommunications providers said the Bush administration has argued that a company can turn over its entire database of customer records -- and even the stored content of calls and e-mails -- because customers "have consented to that" when they establish accounts. The fine print of many telephone and Internet service contracts includes catchall provisions, the lawyer said, authorizing the company to disclose such records to protect public safety or national security, or in compliance with a lawful government request.

"It is within their terms of service because you have consented to that," the lawyer said. If the company also consents, "and they do it voluntarily, the U.S. government can accept it."

Well I think the best thing to do at this point, would be to cancel my service with the three (3), companies that I use and switch over to Qwest or some other service that's not involved with this mess. What say you America?

During Dick Cheney's last days in office as Defense Secretary, he releases a document called Defense Strategy for the 1990s. It reasserts the plans for US global domination outlined in an earlier Pentagon policy papers. But because of Clinton's presidential victory, the implementation of these plans will have to wait until George Bush becomes president in 2001 and Cheney becomes vice president. However, Cheney and others will continue to refine this vision of global domination through the Project for the New American Century think tank (PNAC) while they wait to reassume political power.

The neoconservative think-tank Project for the New American Century writes a blueprint for the creation of a global Pax Americana. The document, entitled Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategies, Forces and Resources for a New Century, was written for the Bush team even before the 2000 Presidential election. President Bush plans for pre-emptive strikes was formed back at the end of his fathers administration, in accordance to Vice President Cheney's plan drafted for global dominance. These plans also called for punishing or threatening punishment against regional aggressors before they act. Interests to be defended pre-emptively include access to vital raw materials, primarily Persian Gulf oil, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles, and threats to US citizens from terrorism.

CASE IN POINT Part1

This is Salem bin Laden, Osama's oldest brother, he was one of the two closest friends of Saudi Arabia's King Fahd. As such, he often performed important missions for Saudi Arabia. He is speculated by the French to have been involved in secret Paris meetings between US and Iranian emissaries. Rumors of these meetings were called the October Surprise and some have speculated Bush Sr. negotiated in these meetings a delay to the release of the US hostages in Iran, thus helping Ronald Reagan and Bush win the 1980 Presidential election. All of this is highly speculative, it points to a long-standing connection of highly illegal behavior between the Bush and bin Laden families, Lets Talk.

In June 1977, George W. Bush formed his own oil drilling company, Arbusto Energy, in Midland, Texas. James Reynolds Bath was a former director of Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI), and part owner of Arbusto Energy with George W. Bush, with whom Bath served as a member of the Texas Air National Guard. Bath was used to funnel money from Salem bin Laden and Khalid bin Mahfouz, to set up George W. Bush in the oil business at the toon of $1-million of the Saudis money.

In 1986 the CIA, ISI and bin Laden work together to build the Khost tunnel complex in Afghanistan. This would later be a major target of bombing and fighting in the US defeat of the Taliban in 2001. It is reported before 9/11 that "bin Laden worked closely with Saudi, Pakistani and US intelligence services to recruit mujaheddin from many Muslim countries.

Michael Springmann, the head US consular official in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, later claimed that he is repeatedly told to issue visas to unqualified applicants. He turns them down, but is repeatedly overruled by superiors. Springmann loudly complains about the practice to numerous government offices, but no action is taken. He eventually is fired and the files he has kept on these applicants are destroyed. Springmann speculates that the issuing of visas to radical Islamic fighters continued until 9/11. He says he later learns that recruits from many countries fighting for bin Laden against Russia in Afghanistan were funneled through the Jeddah office to get visas to come to the US. They would then train for the Afghan war in the US. He says the Jeddah consulate was run by the CIA and staffed almost entirely by intelligence agents. Springmann suggests that this visa system may have continued until present day, and that the 15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers getting their visas through Jeddah could have been a part of it. I guess we know now why and how they got here.

Salem bin Laden met an untimely end in a freak flying accident near San Antonio Texas in 1988.

It is reported that on June 1992 the FBI was investigating the connections between James Bath and George Bush Jr. Bath is Salem bin Laden's official representative in the US. Documents indicate that the Saudis were using Bath and their huge financial resources to influence US policy, since Bush Jr.'s father was president. Bush denies any connections to Saudi money. What became of this investigation no one knows.

The Federal Communications Commission has ordered all broadband Internet service providers and many Voice over Internet Protocol, or VoIP, companies will have 18 months--until spring 2007--to ensure their systems have backdoors that allow police to eavesdrop on their customers' communications for investigative purposes.

Would you call this an invasion of privacy, and where in the world did this come from?

The program is called Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA) it's a controversial United States wiretapping law passed in 1994 (Pub. L. No. 103-414, 108 Stat. 4279.

I'm not suggesting that anyone use VOIP, 2048-bit PK encryption, but VOIP encrypted/decrypted makes it almost impossible for anyone to crack.

The Republicans project, which was added to a $106.5 billion emergency defense spending bill in the Senate, would relocate a Gulf Coast rail line inland, to higher ground. Never mind that the hurricane-battered line was just repaired at a cost of at least $250 million, or that at $700 million, the project championed by Mississippi's two US senators is being called the largest "earmark" ever.

Sen. Trent Lott is alive and well in Mississippi, critics say that the inland rail line would open land for developers to turn Mississippi's struggling Gulf Coast into Las Vegas South - and that emergency federal spending shouldn't pay for it, especially when Washington is on track to spend $371 billion into the red.

Enough is enough, just this morning on NBC’s Today Show, ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson said he "understand[s]" consumers frustration with high gas prices and the news that Lee Raymond, Exxon’s former CEO, received a $400 million compensation package. But he noted that Raymond’s high retirement package wasn’t Exxon’s fault — it was determined by an independent group.

I will not bring up you know who's name today, except to say flip flop all over this problem. Help us LORD.

Then once again in Mississippi, senators beat back attempts Tuesday to strip an emergency hurricane relief bill of money for Northrop Grumman's operations in Pascagoula and for a new Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport.

Mississippi victims including Sen. Lott are fighting with their own insurance companies, but the Senate decided that taxpayers should pick up the tab for insured losses for this major defense giant. Isn't this company issured and will be paid or reimbursed by their own insurance company?

Look at the type of people you have put in office to run this country, the men and women, who are suppose to look out for our well being. Some looking out.

AMERICA HAS NO KING AND COURT

Bush submitted the spending request to Congress, for more than $300 million for construction of permanent bases in Iraq. Did you know that America, Lets Talk.

Bush has also argued that the bill from the war can be paid by a growing economy. While he's correct that the U.S. economy has grown, it hasn't kept pace with a skyrocketing deficit. During his time in office, Bush has presided over a 46 percent increase in the federal debt, from $5.6 trillion to $9 trillion. Given this dire situation, it's hard to see how Bush can argue that the long-term costs of the Iraq War, estimated at $1-2 trillion, can be paid for by future generations.

This is the fault of every American who believed his lies for this war. Just think if a honest President was in office during 9/11, Osama would have been caught or killed.

More than 11,000 terrorist attacks occurred worldwide last year, killing 14,600 people, as networks inspired by al Qaeda but often not directed by the group spread, the State Department said on Friday.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH OUR PRESIDENT?

I read in Raw that the President will announce a deal which will give a Dubai-owned company control over nine plants in the United States that manufacture parts for our military vehicles and aircraft.

This is the same country under Bush and his administration’s approval of a deal that would have given another Dubai-owned company, Dubai Ports World, leases to operate several American port terminals through its acquisition of a British company, the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co.

Remember Investors from the United Arab Emirates helped fund the $23 million for Neil Bush Ignite Incorporated. Ignite sells software to help students prepare to take comprehensive tests required under the No Child Left Behind act that was pushed through by Neil's older brother - President Bush.

This is another operation for Neil Bush since he was banned from banking activities for his role in the Savings and Loan scandal in the late 1980s. Remember he was the director of the Silverado Savings and Loan when it collapsed.

So maybe George feels that he has to give something back to this country, because of what they've done for brother Neil.

UNITED STATES OUTSOURCING SPECIAL OPERATIONS

America, remember when Bush and his Administration told us that Saddam was aiding terrorist and in fact they had a training camp in Iraq. Well that was the truth, Lets Talk.

The terrorist that were in Iraq was the Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MEK), it's the largest and most militant group opposed to the Islamic Republic of Iran. Also known as the People’s Mujahedeen Organization of Iran, MEK is led by husband and wife Massoud and Maryam Rajavi. MEK was added to the U.S. State Department’s list of foreign terrorist groups in 1997. They began supporting Iraq in its eight-year war against Khomeini’s Iran. In 1986, MEK moved its headquarters to Iraq where it received its primary support to attack the regime in Iran.

So America, it turns out we knew (MEK), was in Iraq and that they had nothing to do with the attacks on 9/11. Even though our President and his Administration forgot to tell us this.

Now let me give you the recent information on these terrorist. The US army secured a key MEK facility 60 miles northwest of Baghdad shortly after the 2003 invasion, but they did not secure the MEK, we disarmed them of major weapons but not small arms. Donald Rumsfeld, under pressure from Vice President Cheney, came up with a plan to convert the MEK by having them simply quit their organization and we began using the group on special ops missions into Iran to pave the way for a potential Iran strike.

We are already told that our military are operating in Iran, Sen. Kucinich sent a letter to President Bush about the presence of US troops in Iran.

I wonder, has our President informed the House and Senate about such operations? Do anyone know exactly what this President is doing with our military and the MEK?

In my last post I talk about how this man disregards any and every law that we have here in the United States.

Congressman Dennis J. Kucinich (D-OH), Ranking Democrat on the House Government Reform Subcommittee on National Security, Emerging Threats and International Relations, sent the following letter to President George W. Bush today about the presence of US troops in Iran:

In it he said "Recently, it has been reported that U.S. troops are conducting military operations in Iran. If true, it appears that you have already made the decision to commit U.S. military forces to a unilateral conflict with Iran, even before direct or indirect negotiations with the government of Iran had been attempted, without UN support and without authorization from the U.S. Congress."

Don't Consulation Sec 3 of the War power act state that The President in every possible instance shall consult with Congress before introducing United States Armed Forces into hostilities or into situation where imminent involvement in hostilities is clearly indicated by the circumstances, and after every such introduction shall consult regularly with the Congress until United States Armed Forces are no longer engaged in hostilities or have been removed from such situations.

If it's true that we have Marines in Iran right now, then once again the President has made himself King again and took it upon himself to start another War.

Where's the Congress and where are the American citizens? Why do we continually allow this man to do as he please with our Country?

PEOPLE DONT WANT TO HEAR THE TRUTH

It somewhat makes me sad, mad and angry, to find out that people in the United States and elsewhere, just dont want to hear the truth.

It seems that we believe any and everything, even though some of us know somethings to be a lie, but we go along with the lie because of the man or the party.

I have read many Republican blogs and the things that they say, I really dont think they believe.

I notice that they have a high readership, and I wonder why? I mean how can smart educated people believe what is being said on some of these sites.

Is it loyalty to a party, a person or a lie, what? How can people not know that we as Americans are catching hell right now, and the people to blame are the Republican party.

Look at the tax cuts that are given to the rich and ask yourself, are you benefiting from these cuts?

Have you even noticed the build up, and buy out of well developed land and property in areas that can only be afforded by the rich.

The average American can hardly afford day care for their kids without both partners working, and yes I said partners.

The rich are doing find, and I'm willing to bet you that they dont have a family member in Iraq or Afghanistan. They might not even have a friend or know anyone serving in those wars.

We seem to take what our Government say to us to be the truth, but I can recall when half the truth was being told to us, and we didn't believe the truth because of the party and the man.

Now we seem to believe every lie that is told to us, even when we find out that it was a lie.

What is going on, is it the end of time peeping from around the corner?

If you are a Religious person, you know what I mean, I hope.

I'll stop now and leave you with this. Ruoch is of light and truth, it is said to be the breath of GOD, it is what brought man to life, it is the spirit. Man is not to be put on high places, he's not GOD, so lets stop acting like they are.

First of all you dont get out of a recession, by giving tax cuts to the rich.

The new jobs that have been created are low-wage, temporary positions with no health care benefits.

You said that the tax cuts for the wealthy would stimulate the economy, but you have turned the $5.6 trillion surplus that you inherited from the Clinton years into a $415 billion deficit and you have increased poverty.

You've given giant corporations tax incentives for shipping American jobs abroad. You danced with India about the outsourcing while 2.7 million manufacturing jobs and 558,000 information jobs are gone, lost to other countries.

Well, it seems that George Bush has been caught in another lie. On September 30, August 8th, and August 30, 2003, this man lied to us over and over again.

It seems that he told us that he knew nothing about nothing and after the dust has settle, he knew everything.

He set up his administration to leak classified information, and told us that he knew nothing about leaks from the White House, and if he found out who leaked anything, they would be fired.

The only way this has come to light is that a court document was released today that brought all of this out.

This is both the President and the Vice President leaking or giving authority for someone to leak classified information for political reasons. When you tell one lie, they must continue to cover others. This man lied about why we went to war and had to get someone to destroy the truth to cover up reasons for his lie.

America, look at what you have put into the White House, and you have a nerve to talk about Clinton.

Not all the King horses, nor all the Kings men, will be able to keep King George from telling you another lie, to get out of this lie again. Some President.

SPY AND LIE, THE BUSH GAME

As part of a “domestic terrorism” investigation, the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force conducted surveillance of a Denver bookstore on February 15, 2003 and monitored 40 people who gathered there to carpool to an anti-war demonstration in Colorado Springs later that day, according to an FBI report released today by the American Civil Liberties Union of Colorado.

This is not funny America, and this is not what the conservative blogs are talking about. If anything they are still saying, where's the facts.

No fact that is given will satisfy conservatives, so just stop trying to talk with them about what is really going on right under their nose.

The title of John W. Dean III, new book Conservatives without conscience is exactly what we saw yesterday with the Senate Judiciary Committee. Lets Talk.

The three-hour hearing that Sen. Specter and his Republican hackers of anyone going after this President, showed yesterday that anything this President say or do will be backed up by this Senate.

It's time for this Senate, as well as the Republican control House to go. Yes anytime you have a President who lies to a Country about everything for the past 6 years and is caught, but continue to lie, because he has a control house, and senate, that will protect him in any and all ways possible, no matter what. Shouldn't this let you know America, that it's time for such people to go.

Charles Babington wrote, in the Washington Post, that the Republicans defended Bush to varying degrees, sometimes so vigorously that witnesses could not finish their sentences.

America, we have a Republican, conservative House and Senate running this country and allowing this President. Who seems to be a liar at worst, to continue to lie to you about whatever he wants and you can't do anything about it to stop him, and that's the bottom line.

By you standing by and allowing this man to lie to you, you are the cause. Yes, you America are the cause.

You are the cause to why our young men and women are being killed in a war that was started by choice and a lie. You are the cause to why most seniors are still catching it with this over price medical drug bill and system that they are faced with.

This President lies, even fooled AARP just long enough to get this prescription drug program off and started.

Sen. Lindsey O. Graham, who rejected the comparison of the President's surveillance operations to Watergate, must have went over how to destroy these panel members with Hatch or someone, because he really went after Dean.

What Graham should have done was try to find the truth, and see if this President is worthy of such loyalty by this party, but to attack others who disagree with this President's actions makes this hearing no more than just a joke.

Yes a joke, put on by the Republican Senate to show that nothing can be done to this President, so dont even try, as long as they, the Republicans are running things. ha, ha, ha!

WOMEN ARE JUST AS BAD AS MEN AND EVEN MORE SO!

I'm not trying to start anything, but I'm somewhat tired of hearing how I'm doing this or that because I'm feeling my age. Most of this talk comes from my female friends and female family members.

Just how do women feel, when a man tells them that maybe that skirt is just a little much for you at your age or maybe you should get a little more slack in those jeans.

I have female friends who think that their teenage daughter is their friend. Where do they draw the line. When you have a mother and daughter dressing almost the same and wearing the same cosmetics.

Don't the parent suppose to be the coach/parent, making it safe and somewhat hard for the teenage daughter not to grow up to fast?

I'm not mad, but I am tired of women trying to be both mother and friend to their teenage daughter, while at the same time telling the man that he's trying to relive his past or that he's afraid of getting older.

I thank God every day that I have got to the age that I am right now, and I would like to see many more years.

But it just bothers me, when a woman tells me that I'm afraid to get old, while at the same time she's wearing clothes that are for younger women or coloring her hair and trying to be a friend to her daughter.

I have single mother, female friends who run through men like water. Now how in the world is that being an example for their children. Especially if they have a teenage daughter.

I've seen women run to clubs, parties and games just about every weekend and change their men, like they change their clothes. But when I feel the need to buy myself a car that I now can afford, I'm told that I'm trying to be young or that's what older men do at some point in their life.

I think that I've said to much and that maybe I had better stop now. But I do have a passion about this problem between men and women, and what the women can say or do as opposed to the man.

One more thing, just look at how men are treated when he and a woman decides to get a devorce. The man has to get out of the house and still pay for it, and if that's not enough. The man has to pay child support and sometimes even alimony.

Look at the cases where female teachers are involved with minors, you have Kathy White, Pamela Turner and Lafave of Florida just to name a few. These females are looked at differently then men, when they go out and or involved with minors.

I'm not saying that any of this is right, but I feel that, yes we as people should be treated the same, not because we or a man or a woman, but because we are all Gods children and we all do silly and sometimes crazy things once we start to feel that we are older.

Just stop saying that men are trying to relive this or that, when you dont say the same about yourself.

WHY WERE REPUBLICANS FOOLED ABOUT THE WAR WITH IRAQ

Why is it that so many, if not all Republicans were fooled by President Bush and the war with Iraq? Lets Talk.

During a private two-hour meeting in the Oval Office on Jan. 31, 2003, he made clear to Prime Minister Tony Blair of Britain that he was determined to invade Iraq without the second resolution, or even if international arms inspectors failed to find unconventional weapons, said a confidential memo about the meeting written by Mr. Blair's top foreign policy adviser and reviewed by The New York Times.

A front-page New York Times article this morning about a meeting between President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair on Jan 31, 2003, is receiving substantial international attention. It gets even more interesting when contrasted with what the two men told the press when they emerged from the closed-door session.

Click on the picture of bush and maybe it will remind you of what he told you about his reasons to go to war with Iraq. What this man has done is far worse that what you were calling for of fomer President Clinton.

This President has caused the death of over 2000 men and women who serve our armforces and disabled over 15,000. What say you America?

Don't you think that it is time for our House and Senate to get real answers as to why this man took our Country to war and caused such a deficit with the money used to pay for his war of choice.

Now President Bush and his administration are asking you to believe that the media is giving bad news about the war, and infact things are OK in Iraq. Now if you fall for this one, you are not for America. You are for a man, President Bush and a Party, The Repubilican party, not our Country.

It's time to stop being fooled by this man and this party and start to believe in what you now know to be true, by voting out his Republican friends this November and let someone else try to run this country the right way.

I said once that President Bush went around the Country scaring the Republican base with his lies. Now He's scaring me with them, Let's Talk.

Last week at the Cleveland City Club, and elderly gentleman who cited what he said were the three main reasons for going to war in Iraq -- WMD, Iraq's ties to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorists and the alleged purchase of nuclear material from Niger -- and then noted dryly that all three of these rationales turned out to be false.

"How do we restore confidence that Americans may have in their leaders and to be sure that the information they are getting now is correct?" he asked the president.

How indeed? "That's a great question," began Bush by way of dissembling. "First, just if I may correct a misperception. I don't think we ever said -- at least I know I didn't say -- that there was a direct connection between Sept. 11 and Saddam Hussein."

Do this man think that all Americans caught some type of amnesia, when he made you think that some how Iraq was involved in the 9/11 attack?

MSNBC's Chris Matthews: "Well I am just going to stick to this point that the president led us in there with the background music of American culture. Everybody was led to believe that we were getting payback, we were avenging what happened on 9/11 and that we are going to get them. Vice President Cheney said we are going to attack terrorism at its base. Over and over the language was, this is where it came from, in fact most recently the President suggested that it was always the hot pursuit, like a new York police chase, we chased them back into their country. We pursued the terrorists back to Iraq and it's all nonsense. The reason there are terrorists in Iraq today like Zarqawi is we created the opening by blowing the country apart. From the beginning it's been not true. I'll tell you what we are not telling. We are not showing pictures of the twenty five hundred bodies coming back because they won't let us show the pictures. They don't want the whole truth out and that's the fact."

President Bush tells us how we are fighting them over there, so that we dont have to fight them over here. What a bunch of crap.

You are letting Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. a Hong Kong conglomerate to help detect nuclear materials inside cargo passing through the Bahamas to the United States and elsewhere. You are letting billionaire chairman, Li Ka-Shing, who has substantial business ties to China's government that have raised U.S. concerns over the years.

Have you forgotten or do you even know that U.S. military intelligence report, once marked "secret," cited Hutchison in 1999 as a potential risk for smuggling arms and other prohibited materials into the United States from the Bahamas.

Then to make matters worse you have Philippine company, International Container Terminal Services to install radiation detectors at the Philippines' largest port and the country's customs bureau. U.S. officials said they will investigate further how the Filipinos plan to use the equipment.

Oh and dont forget you have our borders with Mexico as free as a bird, for anyone to come here and do as they please. Then you have the nerve to say that you are protecting us by starting a war of choice and wiretapping American citizens all for our own safety.

You are now looking for a fight, no I'm sorry. You didn't fight when you had the chance. So I'll just say that you are looking to send more Americans to war with Iran, even though you know that our military tactics are leaked to the country that we intend to fight.

WHERE ARE WE HEADED WITH THIS PRESIDENT

Dont he even realize that all one has to do is go back and find out just what he has said about anything since he took office?

I think maybe, he has lied to the American people so much and the majority has believed his every word, even though alot of us have been telling you that he is lying or that he's a liar. He thinks that he can still say and do whatever he please and you will follow. Remember alot of people still thinks that Iraq had something to do with 9/11.

He's on the road again trying to undo his low poll rating and to lie to you some more. Hey he even staged a air show for you in Iraq. Skeptical military analysts described the Swarmer raid, as little more than a photo op. What's more, there were no shots fired at all and the units had met no resistance, said the U.S. and Iraqi commanders. I wonder how much this coast the tax payers?

As of yesterday, at least 2,311 US servicemen had died in Iraq, and more than 13,000 had been wounded. By the end of 2006, the conflict will have cost $320bn.

Senator Chuck Hagel, the Nebraska Republican who is mulling a 2008 White House run, said yesterday.

The war, he declared, was helping to bankrupt the country. "And if you ask, are we better off, is the Middle East more stable than three years ago, the answer is, 'Absolutely not'." Even among the Republican faithful, support for Mr Bush is starting to erode.

President Bush, with the help of Karl Rove, will bring back 9/11, just to take your breath away. To get you in the mood to take his next sucker punch. Which will be coming real soon.

Dont let your guard down and fall for more of his lies America. We as a country have taken enough of the wiretapps, the abuse of prisoners, and I hear now that there might be a possibilty that we have even had illegal physical searches.

Where's the justice in this country America? Are we to allow a President to run roughshot over us, by breaking laws and watch his Republican Congress pass new laws to keep him safe from the laws that he has already broken?

Is this what we are about now. Will we continue to let a Republican President with his Repubilican House and Senate dictate to us what is lawful, by passing laws, so that this president can break the ones that we already have enforce?

Maybe what Justice Santra Day O'Connor said was true, that where the direction the country may be headed if Republicans continue to attack the judiciary will cause a dictatorship.

The way this House and Senate seems to be voting will also cause a dictatorship for this President to do what ever he please. Wake up my Republican friends and see the light before it's to late for everyone.
