Republicans Gone Wild!

First we had Ann Coulter trying to promote her new book and saying anything that came to her mind. She appeared on CNBC's The Big Idea, hosted by Donny Deutsche and she really lost it with her insulting statement in reference to throwing away Judaism and everyone becoming perfected Christians.

Now today we saw Republican Cheri Jacobus insulting former Vice President Al Gore about the Nobel Peace Prize that was awarded to both him and The UN Climate Panel.

Anything for a reaction.

All the wingnuts can do is slander and vilify everyone who disagrees with them. If they had any valid arguments, they'd use them, but they don't.

I am not saying another word about Nazi woman.

However, I must comment about the CNN piece. First of all, I like that chick from CNN International- I was watching that channel a lot when I was in Spain recently.

Cheri Jacobus is basically a better dressed, (seemingly)less vitriolic Coulter. Such angry spew deliver however with a smile.

Albeit a smile through clenched jaw!

Glad the CNN woman nailed her on things like "still questions if global warming is manmade". WTF?

And the self-serving Nobel prize people, just wanting some attention of their own, named Gore.

Oh pul-eeze!

Cheri- STFU baby, STFU! Your mouth is creating global warming.

Very true phil_in_ny, very true.

What makes it worse tom harper, is that they are doing nothing to help this country. They are only helping themselves and one another.

Franiam, She was really caught and could only spew hate.

Ever notice all these female neocons with the mouth of a sewer rat, are bottle blonds whose muzzle seems to ooze the venom of a rabid dog?

The Republican right wingers are upset because they think guys like Rush Limbaugh should be given the Nobel Peace Prize. In fact, Rush himself said that he should have been the one to win it. They also have been saying Bush should win it for his fight for "peace" in the middle east. Yeah...right.

Of course, we're talking about a group of people who think nothing of swift boating a 12 year old child. One of the right wing websites, RedState said that they would rather have seen the kid die than get the money from SCHIP. These are the morals of the new Republican party, hate and vitriol.

Every time they appear and make statements like this, it puts another nail in the RNC coffin for '08. At least, that's they way I'm trying to look at it now.

Republicans gone wild!? At first I thought that they were all running around lifting up their shirts or something!

I agree with Franiam that the woman from CNN International did an excellent job with this interview.

What an ugly forced "smile" on Cheri Jacobus' face! Gave me the creeps.

The Republicans are so jealous of Al Gore, they can hardly stand it. Whereas Gore is respected around the world, Bush and most of the other Republicans are considered robber barron neo con fools.

You have called it right Larry, that's just what we are seeing form the conservatives.

Mary Ellen I think that we have seen enough of the morals of the Republicans.

Candace, I hope that you are right that they have lost any elections for 08.

Anajo, we are all seeing what the Republicans are made of and anyone that would vote for them has to be crazy.

Republicans gone wild? Does this mean there videos of Dennis Hastert in the semi-buff? Please, I don't want to see... !

As for Coulter, I'm not sure how anybody can take a word she says seriously. Does she take herself seriously, or is she just saying whatever she can to get the biggest reaction? As people get more and more weary of her, will her pronouncements take on an even scarier tone? It wouldn't surprise me.

As for Gore winning the Nobel Peace Prize (extremely well-deserved, IMO), have there been any Republican politicians who have won it? I'd be curious to see who has, if anyone has. Like Tom Harper said at his blog, probably about as many Republicans have won Nobel Peace Prizes as there have been oil executives who have won conservation awards or accolades from the Sierra Club.

Of course the GOP will ridicule Gore, mainly because they are jealous of him. They can't understand why 99% of the world doesn't agree with the roughly 25% to 30% of Americans under neocon sway, and it infuriates them.

Rush Limbaugh, a Nobel Peace Prize winner? Should that ever happen, I hope there is technology available for people to leave Earth and colonize other worlds elsewhere. I think Earth would have to sink pretty low in naming him a "peace prize" winner. If Rush did win, and if we couldn't put him on the rocket ship and send him off into space, I might not need to think twice about volunteering to be a colonist.

Mary Ellen, some of these jokers are actually being critical of the 12-year-old kid who delivered the response to Bush? How cruel can people get? It seems that any appeals to these Republicans to think of things in terms of human lives, or for them to be humane and treat others as they would want to be treated themselves... only seem to make them angrier and angrier.

I really think a number of them, particularly those who claim to be people of Christian faith as Ms. Coulter does, need to honestly ask themselves "What would Jesus do?" I know, that sounds like a corny slogan to some people, but hey... Would Christ really be a neoconservative? Would Christ really turn down health care for needy kids if he had the money to spare for such a thing? Would Christ really be o.k. with countless civilian "collateral damage" casualties in a war designed to acquire another country's material possessions?

I could be very wrong here, but my personal experience tells me I sure ought to have serious doubts about the theocons... and I do.

who cares what they think about al gore or global warming, all i know is that al gore is a great man with a great cause.

Snave, the Conservatives are really haveing fits about the Nobel Peace Prize being awarded to Gore.

Ann Coulter is just being herself and saying anything to sell her new book to her right wing dummies, who buy her hate of Americans who are not in agreement with the right.

Emmanuel M Liu, I don't think anyone cares what they think at this point. We are just waiting to vote them out of office and get this country back on the right track.

Stan The Man Coulter aka The Thing is more of a "comedian" than Limbaugh.

I'll concur with that Ronald 'More-More' Moshki, not to mention she's trying to sell a book as well.
