AMERICA,WHY DID HE SAY WE WENT TO WAR?

Cick Photo

In the late 1990s a group of right wing politians and business people got together to found the Project for the New American Century. They set out to map how the United States and its corporations could profit from its sole superpower status. Amongst its plans were regime change in Iraq. When George Bush became president many of these politicians who had set up the PNAC became part of the administration - including Donald Rumsfield (Defence Secretary), Dick Cheney (Vice President) and Paul Wolfowitz (Deputy Defence Secretary).

The Project for the New American Century is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to a few fundamental propositions: that American leadership is good both for America and for the world; and that such leadership requires military strength, diplomatic energy and commitment to moral principle.

The Project for the New American Century intends, through issue briefs, research papers, advocacy journalism, conferences, and seminars, to explain what American world leadership entails. It will also strive to rally support for a vigorous and principled policy of American international involvement and to stimulate useful public debate on foreign and defense policy and America's role in the world.

Could they really have influence this President or could it have been the Carlyle Group, a company where Bush Sr. was an advisor.

We have heard a lot of reasons from the Republican talking heads, but only President Bush can give us the truth, right?

WHERE'S THE BACKBONE OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY

"The American people already made their decision," Vice President Dick Cheney said Monday in an appearance in Mr. Feingold's home state, The Associated Press reported. "They agree with the president." picture of Fiengold Mr. Vice President, who are they? Lets talk.

This is certainly more serious than anything President Clinton was accused of doing, so who in their right mind feels that what this president has done is right and the American people are behind him. This is reminiscent of what Nixon was removed from office for doing.

Like Nixon, this President has broken the the law, and only the Republican nuts are standing by him, just as they have for every other disaster he has caused.

Sen. Specter said, "The president may be wrong, but he has acted in good faith." Sen. Specter, what good faith would you call spying and wiretapping U.S. Citizens?

Democrats, while distancing themselves from Mr. Feingold's assertion that the president "plainly broke the law" in approving surveillance without warrants, said his proposal merited more consideration than a hasty vote. Some backbone the Dems show when they finally have someone in thier party ready to confront this President.

Now you hear that Sen. Feingold is trying to build support for a possible presidential bid in 2008. So what, If he has nerve to stand up to this President, his Republican Senate and the Chickens in the Democratic party, then I say. Good for you Sen. Fiengold, you have my vote, because you are doing what no other Democrat has the nerve to do.

Sen. Frist has already started to say, what most Americans are just so sick of hearing from the Republican party, when someone question this President and what he has done, he said. "When we're talking about censure of the president of the United States at a time of war, when this president is out defending the American people with a very good, lawful, constitutional program, it is serious business," Mr. Frist said. "If they want to make an issue out of it, we're willing to do just that."

Are you tired of this same picture from the Republicans? When will this country come together and say Mr. President you are wrong and if you the Senate and House can't get it together, by doing your job, then guess what? You can let the door knob hit you where the good Lord split you, and we can show you better in November just what we are talking about.

I really am tired of Democrats walking away from a battle, as if no one cares about what is going on, or scared that if they say or do the wrong thing, this President and the Republican party will label them weak or not for our troops.

Stop this now about who is for our troops and who's not. We are all Americans and we are all for our troops. We are not all for the talking points that you bring out everytime someone question King George. We are all not for the way you try to divide us and play with our minds, as if we were to dumb to see just what you have done in the past and what you are trying to do now with this troop business.

What this President has done has nothing to do with the troops. Stop the scare tactics. If you are so concerned about anything stop the port deal that is still going on behind the Americans back, yes we know that the UAE still has the rights to the ports.

the Carlyle Group, a company where Bush Sr. was an advisor. They received an $8 billion investment last year from Dubai International Capital. Neal Bush, the president's brother has been in bed with the UAE for quite some time, including getting backing for Ignite!, his educational software company.

President Bush chose a Dubai Ports World executive, David Sanborn, to head the US Maritime Administration and the Secretary of the Treasury, John Snow, was former chairman of CSX Corporation, a company who sold their port operations to Dubai Ports World. Secretary Snow has gone on record to push this latest Dubai Ports World deal by claiming that "12 American agencies have ruled out security concerns."

We even know that they, the UAE are just looking for some American company to run their business here. So Let the con talking go.

We are tired and much smarter than you seem to think and I guess you will find that out come next election. This is for you to my Democratic chickens, we are fed up with you running away with your tail between your legs, anytime a good fight starts.

PRESIDENT BUSH MAKES US A LAWLESS COUNTRY

Now's the time to pay close attention to the Republican party and how they have given King George a free ride in America to do as he please.

Tomorrow Sen. Feingold will introduce a resolution condemning the President's actions in authorizing the illegal wiretapping program and then misleading the country about the existence and legality of the program.

This resolution want get anywhere, because this Republican Congress and Senate protects the President, even when he brakes the Law.

The resolution states that The President’s illegal wiretapping program is in direct violation of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). The FISA law makes it a crime to wiretap Americans in the United States without a warrant or a court order.

The President and this Administration decided to break the law and they have yet to give a convincing explanation of why their actions were necessary, appropriate, or legal. Passing more laws will not change the fact that the President broke the ones already in place and for that, Congress must hold him accountable.

Sen. Frist has already started to defend this President by stating that he was hoping deep inside that the leadership in Iran and other people who have the U.S. not in their best interest are not listening because of the terrible signal it sends.

The only signal this sends is that you are defending a President who has broken the law and we as Americans should demand that you Mr. Frist and other leaders do what you ask of us, when we as American citizens break the law.

IS FORMER JUSTICE OCONNOR RIGHT ABOUT THE REPUBLICANS AND BUSH

Just-resigned Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor said that attacks on the judiciary by some Republican leaders pose a direct threat to our constitutional freedoms. She warns Of "Beginnings" Of Dictatorship, could she be right? Lets Talk.

Reporters who write about government surveillance could be prosecuted under proposed legislation that would solidify the administration’s eavesdropping authority, according to some legal analysts.
An aide to the bill’s chief author, Sen. Mike DeWine, an Ohio Republican, said that is not the intention of the legislation.
“It in no way applies to reporters — in any way, shape or form,” said Mike Dawson, a senior policy adviser to DeWine, responding to an inquiry Friday afternoon. “If a technical fix is necessary, it will be made.”
The Associated Press obtained a copy of the draft of the legislation, which could be introduced as soon as next week.
The draft would add to the criminal penalties for anyone who “intentionally discloses information identifying or describing” the Bush administration’s terrorist surveillance program or any other eavesdropping program conducted under a 1978 surveillance law.
Under the boosted penalties, those found guilty could face fines of up to $1 million, 15 years in jail, or both.
Kate Martin, director of the Center for National Security Studies, said the measure is broader than any existing laws. She said, for example, that the language does not specify that the information has to be harmful to national security or classified.
“The bill would make it a crime to tell the American people that the president is breaking the law, and the bill could make it a crime for the newspapers to publish that fact,” said Martin, a civil liberties advocate.
DeWine is co-sponsoring the bill with Republican Sens. Olympia Snowe of Maine, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, and Chuck Hagel of Nebraska.
The White House and Republican Senate leaders have indicated general support, but the bill could face changes as it works its way through Congress.

With the information that we now have about the Pentagon spying on us. This leads me only to believe that we are headed in the direction of a dictatorship.

We are deprived of true medical aid, like that of which the Congress gets, are they any more deserving of such perks, than are we the Armerican citizens?

We spend time picking over which party is best for us, when they both have sold us down the drain.

We stop for a minute and find all jobs and security that we held so dear have been outsourced to overseas countries, because of NAFTA, CAFTA, and WTO. We say, like robots that we love this party or this President. We need to take a step back and see that both parties, one under Clinton and one under Bush have gave this countries jobs, and our well being over to the companies who fly as fast as they can to third workd countires, where labor, safety and laws are relaxed.

Making their concerns with the all mighty dollar, more important than we are. Wake up America and smell the coffee. We never gave our approval for such globalization. This type deal was made by big business, our Presidents, our Congress, our Bankers, and the Rich.

You and I had nothing to do with this. We walked around arguing about Clintons sex affairs and faught over the fact that Bush led us into an uncalled for war, while our jobs were just given away by the people with the money, for more money and cheaper labor. Then the products were shipped right back to this country at a cheaper rate and we thought we were given a bargain, until the lay offs started.

Now we hear about Bush, the Congress and the Senate wanting to create a new law to justify the law that our President broke. Why can't we all get it at one time and remove such people in November, before it's to late.

IT'S TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE IN NOVEMBER

The body of an American man taken hostage with three other Christian peace activists late last year was found near a railroad line in Baghdad with gunshots to his head and chest, Iraqi police said Saturday. Is this the sign that it's time for our men and women to stop dying for Bush mistake, Lets Talk America.

Tom Fox, 54, of Clear Brook, Va., was the fifth American hostage killed in Iraq. There was no word on his fellow captives, a Briton and two Canadians, who were last seen without Fox in a brief, silent video dated Feb. 28

Nearly four out of five Americans, including 70 percent of Republicans, believe civil war will break out in Iraq - the bloody hot spot upon which Bush has staked his presidency. Nearly 70 percent of people say the U.S. is on the wrong track, a 6-point jump since February.

Bush has tried to occupy a country of 25 million people with only 130,000 troops. He was told about the mass build up needed to have victory in Irag, after the invasion.
Like everything else that we are finding out now, this President and his administration have made nothing but mistake after mistake. But what makes it even worse, is that King George only listen to those that know nothing about a war or anything else for that matter.

He's hired all the wrong people for most jobs in his administration, and most all have made big mistakes that coast Americans, tax dollars, life, destruction, ruin, and in worse shape than they were before he took office.

We have a Congress that have passed everything that he's place before them. They even find ways to make new laws, to keep King George out of trouble with our great country, when he has broken the law. Now who in their right mind would want such a congress in office come November?

It's time to have a Congress that will stand up to this man and his every mistake and hold him accountable. Come on America, we deserve better that what we are getting right now. Lets make a change in November and pray that it's not to late.

BUSH, CHENEY AND SNOW DEFICIT ATTENTION DISORDER

Last month the U.S. Treasury suspended investing in the Federal Employees Retirement System to avoid hitting the legal debt limit. Didn't Bush just tell us that the economy was in great shape, Lets Talk America.

Vice President Dick Cheney urged Americans last Thursday to do a better job of saving and challenged policymakers to strengthen pensions and fix Social Security to help people in their golden years.

"The American dream begins with saving money and that should begin on the very first day of work," Cheney told a conference here exploring how to encourage people to boost savings and be better prepared for retirement.

Too often, workers are living paycheck to paycheck and are not saving sufficiently, Cheney said.

Treasury Secretary John Snow notified Congress on Monday that the administration has now taken "all prudent and legal actions," including tapping certain government retirement funds, to keep from hitting the $8.2 trillion national debt limit.

In a letter to Congress, Snow urged lawmakers to pass a new debt ceiling immediately to avoid the first-ever U.S. default on its obligations.

To keep from jumping all over the legal borrowing limit Congress must now raise the debt ceiling, even though we are being told by this Administration the the economy is fine.

This is the 4th time Mr Bush, that you have went to congress to raise the debt limit. If they decide not to follow your lead you will be forced to delay auctiong bills and notes and move money among the pension funds.

It's time to let the tax cut go Sir, just look at what has been going on. You now have a deficit that your tax cut helped to bring on, you have the Iraq war that you lied this country into, that consumes millions of our tax dollar. You had 911, the Afghanistan war and the Gulf disasters. Let that tax cut go!

Last month you sent Congress a $2.77 trillion budget request for fiscal 2007 that calls for a deficit of $354 billion, compared with a record $423 billion forecast this year. The Bush administration says it expects to shave the deficit to less than 2 percent of gross domestic product by 2009, from 3.2 percent this year.

The Treasury estimates it will borrow $427 billion in fiscal 2006 and $373 billion in fiscal 2007 to fund government operations, the budget showed. The government borrowed $297 billion in 2005, according to the documents.

Any CEO of a corporation who screwed up as many things as George W. Bush would have been fired by its board of directors. Here's a few of the ways:

Invasion of Iraq, which is the biggest strategic blunder and scandal in U.S. history. Saddam Hussein never initiated a belligerent act of aggression or terrorism against us. The buildup to that war was based on fabrications, deception and lies.

Death of 2,100 U.S. soldiers, wounding 15,000 more, and the death of 30,000 innocent Iraqi men, women and children.

Immoral and unconstitutional trade policies that caused $2.824 trillion in trade deficits in just five years.

The worst fiscal performance in our history, piling up $2.472 trillion in added federal debt in five years en route to a major economic collapse.

Tax policies that are an insult to working people who make dividends possible but who are required to pay a higher marginal tax rate than those who collect dividends without working.

Foreign policies that have alienated most of the rest of the world.

A misguided attempt to turn future Social Security pensions over to Wall Street.

In typical arrogance, Bush said we must stay the course in the Iraq war, which means continuing his tragic record while killing and wounding more U.S. soldiers. That has no more credibility than to say a fox should be put in charge of maintaining order in a hen house after he has just created mayhem therein.

Earlier this year, Terri Schiavo lay in a permanent coma connected to a feeding tube. Her husband said she would have wanted that tube removed. But Republican members of Congress passed a resolution to maintain the tube, causing Bush to fly from his ranch in Texas to Washington to sign that legislation.

As his pen was poised to sign the document, Bush said, "If there is an error in this matter, it is best to err on the side of life."

Why didn't Bush make that same judgment in early 2003 when millions of Americans protested against a possible invasion of Iraq, as did many foreign leaders? Bush had no qualms about killing and wounding thousands of soldiers and innocent civilians.

In view of his miserable record, his arrogant lack of good judgment and his failure to understand the gravity of his record, President Bush (and Vice President Dick Cheney) should be shown the exit door with a proviso to never darken the Oval Office again. ( Written by Gus R. Stelzer).

Remember America, Corporations dont pay taxes, if you thought they did, then you are dead wrong. When we buy things and receive services, we pay their taxes, and that's a fact. Think about it, who has George Bush cuts and bills benefited?

We now have a National Debt of $8 Trillion dollars, do you think this President has an answer for it?

BUSH AND SECURITY CHIEF WARNED ABOUT KATRINA

Bush declared four days after the storm, "I don't think anybody anticipated the breach of the levees" that gushed deadly flood waters into New Orleans. But the transcripts and video show there was plenty of talk about that possibility - and Bush was worried too. Mississippi begged for more attention in that same briefing.

federal disaster officials warned President Bush and his homeland security chief before Hurricane Katrina struck that the storm could breach levees, put lives at risk in New Orleans' Superdome and overwhelm rescuers, according to confidential video footage.

Homeland Security officials have said the "fog of war" blinded them early on to the magnitude of the disaster. But the video and transcripts show federal and local officials discussed threats clearly, reviewed long-made plans and understood Katrina would wreak devastation of historic proportions.

He's also forgot about what we said about our ports. The Jerusalem Post notes that US law bars firms from complying with such requests or cooperating with attempts by Arab governments to boycott Israel. If you didn't know Mr. President, the UAE, still boycotts Israel.

The Last I heard US laws ban the participation by US nationals and companies in unsanctioned foreign government trade boycotts, especially the Arab League's boycott of Israel.

Let me stop getting ahead of myself and jump back to the first lie, I mean subject. Bush was told about what would happen in the Gulf States and he lied to us that he didn't know a thing.

Let me stop for a minute and let you watch and be the judge.

OK, what say you? Is Bush a liar to you now, you think?

This is what we've been saying to you Republicans/Conservatives for, I dont know how long and if you still refuse to accept the fact that he has been lying to us all along, then you really have a King George problem.

Look America, we are going down the drain with this President and his Administration.
I think we would do better if his wife took over the job of running the country.
I'm willing to bet that she would let old sharp shooter Cheney go and Ananias Karl Rove be hit by the door wher the good Lord split him.

I know that I'm dreaming, but folks just take a look at what is going on in this country with King George running things and lying about everything when something goes wrong.

Bush said that he would veto anything that comes his way about the UAE and the ports.
Critics note that two of the suicide hijackers involved in the attacks of September 11, 2001, came from the United Arab Emirates and that money for the plot was funneled through banks in Dubai, the banking hub of the Persian Gulf.

Dont he even know that there was no real investigation conducted during the 30-day period before they awarded the ports to the UAE?
I'm not trying to down this King, but anyone can see that he's in a state of denial and not all the Kings horses nor all the Kings men are going to put King George back on the strait and narrow again. We, the American people must do this by impeaching him before he cause anymore damage to our country.

BUSH SLEEPING ON THE JOB AGAIN

Suddenly King George has told us that he wasn't aware of what was going on again.
This time it was the sale of six US ports to UAE. King George only became aware when federal approval was granted and congressional opposition erupted over the deal.

Scott McClellan said "This didn't rise to the presidential level." My God man, what rises to King George level when this countries security is involved.

McClellan should have awaken King George from his bubble, so as to inform Congress about the deal. But when you're sleeping on the job, things get to others after the fact, just a little to late.

Once awaken from his sleep, King George has made the decision to back his staff decision to approve the sale and will go as far as to veto, for the first time.

You tell us constantly , that we are under constant threat and that you can protect us. You seem to be doing a very bad job at our borders, so how can you do an impossible job at our ports to protect us.

Tuesday, February 21, 2006

SOME PRESIDENT WE HAVE HERE

President George W. Bush rejected congressional pressure to step in and suspend an Arab company's takeover of operations at major U.S. seaports on Tuesday and vowed to veto any legislation to block the deal.

Bush said "After careful review by our government, I believe the transaction ought to go forward," Bush told reporters aboard Air Force One. If Congress passed a law to stop the deal, "I'll deal with it with a veto."

He said that he was trying to conduct a fair foreign policy.

"I want those who are questioning it to step up and explain why all of a sudden a Middle Eastern company is held to a different standard than a great British company," Bush said.

"I'm trying to conduct foreign policy now by saying to the people of the world 'we'll treat you fairly.'"

The firm, Dubai Ports World
, owned by the United Arab Emirate of Dubai, cut a $6.8 billion deal last week to buy control of the ports - including Manhattan's cruise ship terminal and Newark, N.J.'s, giant container port - from a British firm.

the ports of New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, New Orleans, Miami and Philadelphia are just the start, the other problem is that. The company, Dubai Ports World, would also control the movement of military equipment on behalf of the U.S. Army through two other ports. From today’s edition of the British paper Lloyd’s List:

[P&O] has just renewed a contract with the United States Surface Deployment and Distribution Command to provide stevedoring [loading and unloading] of military equipment at the Texan ports of Beaumont and Corpus Christi through 2010.

Letter sent to Secretary Snow Department of Treasury

Federal law requires the President or his designee investigate the impact on national security of a foreign acquisition if the acquisition "could result in control of a person engaged in interstate commerce in the United States that could affect the national security of the United States." (50 USC App.&2170). The President has delegated this investigation authority to the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) of which you are chairman. We understand that CFIUS has chosen not to conduct a formal investigation.

Now just back up Mr. President, how can you say that you would veto anything that will protect this country from the mess you are about to get us into. You say that you are protecting this country?

Then get your butt out there and do what is right to really keep us safe from terrorism and get your Administration to, for once do their job and really keep Americans safe. My God some President we have here!

FINALLY

Senator Pat Roberts said that he wanted the Bush administration's domestic eavesdropping program brought under the authority of a special intelligence court, a move President Bush has argued is not necessary.

The President wants to exempt the program from the purview of the court created by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act

Ohio Sen. DeWine said his proposal called for an intelligence subcommittee with "professional staff" to have oversight. "It would be fundamentally different than doing it by the Gang of Eight.

Democrats and a growing number of Republicans say the program appears to violate the 1978 Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Some Republicans are also skeptical of the Bush administration's assertion that it has the inherent constitutional authority to conduct the eavesdropping, and that Congress authorized the program when it passed a resolution after Sept. 11 giving Mr. Bush authority to use military force to defend the nation.

Look I know that everyone wants to be safe at almost any cost, but when a President and his Administration go to far, then some branch of government must be willing to correct any and all wrong doings by this or any administration.

CHENEY AND HIS MOMENTS

Cheney...Cheney...Cheney!
These are the moments of Cheney. I would say that they are funny, but due to the serious nature of the events and the hurt he has caused, there's nothing funny about these moments.

Attorney General Alberto Gonzales
has not turned over emails to the special prosecutor's office that may incriminate Vice President Dick Cheney, his aides, and other White House officials who allegedly played an active role in unmasking Plame Wilson's identity to reporters.

In early 2004, Cheney was interviewed by federal prosecutors investigating the Plame Wilson leak and testified that neither he nor any of his senior aides were involved in unmasking her undercover CIA status to reporters and that no one in the vice president's office had attempted to discredit her husband, a vocal critic of the administration's pre-war Iraq intelligence.

Aside from the emails that have not been turned over, there are also emails that Patrick Fitzgerald, the Special Prosecutor investigating the case, believes were either "shredded" or deleted.

Witnesses in the case have testified before a grand jury that Cheney, Libby, Hadley, the Pentagon, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the State Department, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Justice Department, the FBI, and other senior aides in the Office of the Vice President, the President, and the National Security Council had received and read a March 9, 2002, cable sent to his office by the CIA that debunked the Niger claims.

Cheney and Bush sure know how to succeed despite breaking or bending the rules. Bush had one DWI; Cheney had two. Bush went MIA in the National Guard; Cheney took five military deferments. This is a rules-don't-matter duo, a shoot-and-don't-tell couple. Kids, pay attention, you can mess up and still become millionaire-leaders of the free world.

Although he was hunting illegally when he blasted Austin millionaire Harry Whittington, Cheney will get off with a warning from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, his office said.

How can Cheney love to shoot and hunt with guns, but when time came for him to serve his country, he came up with five (5), deferments. People in the Service call this a man who can talk the talk but cant walk the walk.

This should let you know America. STOP voting for the party and START voting for the person who will best serve you and this country.

HEALTH SAVING ACCOUNTS AND YOU

CLICK PHOTO

This insurance coverage essentially acts like an individual retirement account, where the money is reserved for any future medical costs. By law, the tax-free savings are meant to cover out-of-pocket expenses that can occur with high-deductible insurance policies.

Instead of paying high premiums every month, the high-deductible plans leave you with a large bill right off, which can run between $1,000 to $5,100 for single coverage and up to $10,200 for a family.

Faced with spiraling medical bills for employees, companies have been quick to embrace health savings accounts as a cost-cutting measure.

Some say This type of insurance could save everyone money in the long run, and by making consumers more engaged, may even improve care. While Henry Waxman, a Democratic Congressman from California said. "The President's health savings account plan combines the worst elements of the President's failed Social Security privatization plan and his Medicare prescription drug fiasco."

The biggest losers under health savings accounts tend to be those with chronic diseases, who blow through their savings by having to continually buy medications. This doesn't have to be the case, as long as the plans incorporate preventive and wellness programs as part of the insurance offering.

Uwe Reinhardt, a health economist at Princeton, says that such savings accounts are ultimately a poor way to fix an ailing healthcare system. The trend of shifting more responsibility to consumers, which started under President Regan, has failed to reduce medical costs overall, nor has it stemmed the rising tide of Americans who go without medical insurance.

The problem, in part, has to do with supply and demand.

"The vast majority of the healthcare items are bought by those who are seriously sick," he says, which is not going to change with a greater use of savings accounts.

This new type of cost awareness may make some question lifestyle drugs like Viagra, but few are in a position to negotiate with hospitals and big drug companies when they really need to.

"Healthcare is not like buying a shirt," says Reinhardt.

Indeed, the intricate medical billing systems make it difficult to comparison shop, he says, and the complex human body is why doctors spend seven years or more in medical training.

What the health savings accounts are really good for, Reinhardt concedes, is making money.

"I have one," he says. "We can buy all kinds of things."

These saving accounts will not help those who have little money to begin with, which means that emergency rooms and the government will be left to pick up the pieces. Even the architects of health savings accounts, who outlined their plans in the book, Healthy, Wealthy and Wise, claim that such broad-scale savings might insure an additional 20 million Americans, well short of the 45 million who are not covered now.

In the end, some experts fear, health saving accounts will simply make it more expensive for everyone to get care.

"These are a sign of how desperate we've become," says Fronstin.

The feedback UnitedHealth has received so far suggests that health savings accounts are working. Yet, a hard to dismiss concern is that greater financial discipline can also drive people away from seeing a doctor.

A study by the RAND Corporation found that greater out-of-pocket expenses cut down on questionable health spending, but at the cost of not seeking out effective preventative care. Those with a low-income who spent more of their own money on health ended up with poorer blood pressure control and were more likely to skimp on annual tests, such as Pap smears.

Stacey of Hewitt Associates says that those who remain healthy tend to benefit the most from these plans. If you suffer an emergency, such as a heart attack, you are likely to break even, since high deductible plans have the same catastrophic coverage as traditional insurance.

The biggest losers under health savings accounts tend to be those with chronic diseases, who blow through their savings by having to continually buy medications. Stacey says this doesn't have to be the case, as long as the plans incorporate preventive and wellness programs as part of the insurance offering.

People with diabetes, for example, can benefit from insurance programs that also focus on lifestyle changes, such as diet and exercise. Still, he and others do not see health savings accounts as the final answer in cutting costs.

If you clicked on the photo above and saw the video, maybe it could help you decide, if this type care will help. I really dont know. What do you think?

WAS OUTED CIA OFFICER WORKING ON IRAN, INTELLIGENCE

According to current and former intelligence officials, Valerie Plame Wilson, who worked on the clandestine side of the CIA in the Directorate of Operations as a non-official cover (NOC) officer, was part of an operation tracking distribution and acquisition of weapons of mass destruction technology to and from Iran.

What will this mean for Libby, Rove and maybe even Cheney, if they violated the Intelligence Identities Protection Act, which is treason to name a CIA agent.
