Our President and his Congress are on vacation. The President will be back in a few days and his congress will be back in about 5 weeks.
Our Generals have stated that the The Kurds, Sunnis and Shiites are at a level of civil war and our military is right in the middle of it.
Just what is going on over there and what is this President and his Administration going to do about it?
Shiites chanting "Death to Israel" and "Death to America is not solving the problem and if anything this is what brings down our military spirites.
Is it time to disengage from Iraq?

Our continued presence in Iraq does not seem to be helping the situation right now. We should seriously consider getting out in the near future.
Would getting out of Iraq be another Vietnam?
What would happen in that region if we got out?
Should we wait until they have a force able to secure there country?
I'm not trying to be funny but what way in the near futrue should we get?
No, we've tried turning the other cheek, we ended up with 9/11, The Cole, the embassy bombings, 3/11, 7/11 etc, etc.
Iraq and Vietnam have absolutely less than nothing to do with each other.
The region has always been a den of murdering idiots, with our continued presense, some might just think that being a Republic isn't such a bad idea. It takes time. Why is it so many think you can snap your fingers and fix a problem that is many centuries old?
Yes, we should wait until they have a more stable force.
Stop thinking in terms of a timeline, that solves nothing. Timelines in a case like this are a waste. We'll get out when we get out. Period.
