Libby has said to the federal grand jury that his superiors authorized him to leak secret information to the press in defense of Bush intelligence used to justify the war with Iraq.

The former CIA officer in charge of coordinating our intelligence on the Middle East accused the Bush administration of cherry picking intelligence on Iraq to justify the decision already made to go to war with Iraq, and ignore warnings the violence and chaos the invasion would cause.
BUSH KNEW ABOU LEVEES
Congressional investigators now know that Bush lied about the night of Aug. 30, when the levee broke in New Orleans. An account of the flooding from emergency officials reached the Homeland Security Department's headquarters starting at 9:27pm, the day before and the White House at Midnight. So the statement that Bush made about being surprised, was a lie because he knew about it.
