Rush Limbaugh At It Again

Rush Limbaugh must really get his kicks from trying to hurt our kids, especially if they are talking against anything that he believes in.

Keith Olbermann talked about the shameful ways Limbaugh has disrespected our younger generation kids. Is he still on drugs?

Olbermann shows video of Rush attacking a 18-year-old Inuit from Alaska who was sobbing through her congressional testimony, while describing Global Warming's disastrous effects on her community.

Had this been a Democrat doing such a thing our Republicans would have had a field day destroying him for such action. How is it that this man continue to say what he pleases to and about our kids and gets away with it?

These people will do anything to make the headlines for their blankless ego.

Larry, the scary thing here is they believe in what they say and what they are doing. As long as someone listen and give them the nod to continue, they will.

Isn't this very similar to the way Ann Coulter sells books? Is it pushing the envelope too far, or are these people revealing something more sinister in their souls?

LET'S TALK said...

kip, I'm thinking something more sinister in their souls are being revealed.

Limbaugh knows he's destroyed any mainstream creds he may have had, so he's decided to go the C*****r route. It pays well, and if you never had any ethics to begin with, what do you have to lose?

I agree Jolly, great points.

"Is he still on drugs?"
Was he ever completely off then?

"How is it that this man continue to say what he pleases to and about our kids and gets away with it?"

This is not a defense of Don Imus, but hold this up against what he said, and tell me what's worse? Yet Imus was nearly castrated.

Limbaugh, Cuntler....they're fundamentalists. They don't have to answer for their actions, because they know what God wants.

Apparently, it's skin off our asses!:)

Great comment The Future Was Yesterday. I guess I'm still looking for this guy to have something to say about Bush and his daughters.

This is the way of the right wing crowd. They only love children before they're born. Once they take that first breath of air....all bets are off, they're fair game. I'm convinced that there is a special place in hell for guys like Rush Limbaugh.

In the case of Limbaugh, as well as Coulter, I doubt they really believe the Fundie crap; they're just making money from gullible people, the same way the televangelists do. They'll ride this gravy train until it runs out. (IMO, Pat Robertson, on the other hand, actually believes this crap, which makes him REALLY dangerous!)

It is truly a mystery to me how he gets away with this stuff.

And I agree, he's worse than Imus for sure. But I don't like any of 'em.

LET'S TALK said...

Mary Ellen. I have that funny feeling about Rush as well. That includes Ann Coulter as well.

LET'S TALK said...

Candace, glad to hear from you. I agree with what you are saying in reference to Ann and Rush.

Pat is the man who should concern us all, this guy is just waiting for the end of days.

I'll be over to your site as soon as I finish with comments. I've been busy all day and just got a break.

LET'S TALK said...

Mauigirl, it's sad to say that Rush, gets away with this because we are not demanding any type of Respect from him and others now days.

Whenever I need advice, updates on world events, etc, I always turn to a drug addled sack of crap like Limbaugh.

Saturday Night Live should do a skit of him working as a "Sideline Reporter." He could interview people in line at the Methadone Clinic.

LET'S TALK said...

fairlane, it's rather funny how Republicans can forgive one another for their bad habits. When it comes to doing the same for Democrats or any regular citizen, they seem to make matters worse and accuse them of being scum.

Look at the MoveOn ad compared to McConnell's action or Clinton affairs compared to this illegal war and deaths this President has caused. Not including the trillions in debt this country face from said actions.

Another thing that pisses me off about Rush, Ann, and Co. is that I want a more united country. These folks make a huge contribution to the divided-ness we're stuck in.

LET'S TALK said...

I agree with you 100% on this call kip.

Rush? beliefs? morals? not on your life.

isn't it funny how he's now holding up Katrina's victims as a comparison? [tho' he still giggles when he does it.]
2 years ago, he was mocking them and condemning them. and, if THEY go before Congress again to protest how they've been treated, he'll do it again. and the sheep who watch his crap will swallow that, too.

nobody cares what rush limbaugh think, he is probably on drugs agian.

LET'S TALK said...

You are right two crows, those that buy into this grap will surely buy into it again and again.

LET'S TALK said...

Yes Emmanuel M Liu, drugs are probably what keeps him going on this way.

hey, LT--
This is off topic -- sorry: But it's so important I'm trying to get it out on every avenue I can.
Right now, it's Monday, November 12, noon Florida, USA time.
On the History Channel, there's a program airing: Band of Bloggers.
The viewer is taken to Iraq in real time -- the troops are taking videos of their raids and other experiences and blogging them online as soon as they return to base [at the 'Internet Cafe']

THESE experiences aren't prettied up with editing and flags and lovely music in the background. Please see this if you can. And pass it on.
WE'VE GOT TO BRING THESE KIDS HOME.

Ah hell I was going to comment but I just figure you folks are like most libs and don’t listen to Rush but have convinced yourselves of the same stereotypical anti Neo-Con crap.
You guys are funny...

“This is the way of the right wing crowd. They only love children before they're born.”

but obviously woefully unoriginal.

I'm not a praying type, but if I was, I would be praying for a return of the Fairness Doctrine. Thanks to Ronald Reagan and his friends, we are stuck with a rightwing monopoly on radio. They don't want us to have a variety of information from which to form opinions, they just want to make our opinions for them. An educated, well-informed public is the earmark of a civilized nation, and eliminating the Fairness Doctrine has allowed our country to become much less civilized and well-informed, creating a climate of political debate that approaches a shouting match, or name-calling among grade-school children.

If we are fortunate enough to have a Democratic president and Democratic Congress after the elections of 2008 (if we are allowed by Bush/Cheney to have elections then) I will be personally urging any and all lefties to demand the reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine. When someone like Rush Limbaugh spews his prejudices and opinions as fact, listeners need to be provided with a rebuttal... that just isn't happening anymore.
