Conyers: Impeachment Not Off My Table

Rep. John Conyers declared House Speaker Nancy Pelosi could not stop him from beginning impeachment proceedings in the House Judiciary Committee against a 'long list of people'in the Bush administration, although he did not make a firm commitment to begin proceedings.

"Nancy Pelosi has impeachment 'off the table,' but that's off her table, it is not off John Conyers' table," the Michigan Democrat said during a town hall meeting in his district Tuesday. "Nancy Pelosi, who I actually supported, cannot prevent me from introducing an impeachment resolution against, well I've got a long list of people who are eligible."

Starting this September, hundreds of impeachment activists are expected to descend on Pelosi's office next month to pressure the House Speaker to allow impeachment proceedings.

Just maybe someone will persuade Conyers or Pelosie to do what the American citizens want for a change and start impeachment of this administration before it's too late.

Ted Nugent Blast Democratic Candidates

With Machine Guns in his hands, Ted Nugent issues threats to Barrack Obama, Hillary Clinton and even California Senator's Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer.

Fox News made a statement and tried to destroy the Dixie Chicks for talking about President Bush. I wonder if they have anything to say about Ted Nugents threats with machine guns?

Oh Bill, You've Done It Again!

Bill O'Reilly talked with Bill Maher and begin the interview about Arianna Huffington being on his show and Maher corrected him by saying Huffington, was not on the show last season. O'Reilly had to admit he just thought that she was on the show. Now begins the reason most viewers love watching Bill Maher.

Maher had to correct O'Reilly about the statement where he called Democrats, Left Wing Loons, The surge, accountability, Edwards and the funniest part of the show was when Maher talked about the cross dresser and the Mormon.

Now we know how and why this President signed a directive granting extraordinary powers to the office of the president in the event of a declared national emergency, apparently without congressional approval or oversight.

The "National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive" was signed May 9, by executive order.

This is just one way President Bush has gotten his way, just as we were told by Senator Leahy that "In fact, we were about to issue subpoenas then and one of the senators came to our meeting and said that the vice president had met with the Republican senators and told them they were not allowed to issue subpoenas.

Remember President Bush already has an executive order that allows him to confiscate property of anyone who commits acts of violence threatening the peace and stability of Iraq and undermining efforts to promote economic reconstruction and political reform in Iraq and to provide humanitarian assistance to the Iraqi people.


President Bush has entrusted himself with leading the entire federal government, not just the Executive Branch. And he gives himself the responsibility for ensuring constitutional government. With rumors of war with Iran and talks of terrorist attacks again in America. If a catastrophic emergency occurs during Bush's watch, he's in charge for as long as he wish. Is that called being a dictator?

Bonds did it with a shot to the deepest part of the ballpark with one out in the fifth inning against Washington’s Mike Bacsik.

Bonds sent the 84-mph fastball arcing high into the night, 435 feet into the right-center field seats. And then, the celebration began in force — fireworks, streamers, banners commemorating the accomplishment, and even a party in McCovey Cove.

“This record is not tainted at all. At all. Period,” Bonds said.
