Olbermann Is Right!

I've said that I had no dog in this fight between Obama and Clinton. I stated that I was sitting on the fence waiting for the winner to support.

After the last two weeks and what I've seen and heard from the Clinton camp. Olbermann makes some very strong arguments against Hillary and how she has fought this fight.

I will support whomever wins but for now I cannot support the actions of Hillary Clinton.

What say you?

I'm with you. I'll vote for Hillary if she gets the nomination. But she's egotistical, meanspirited, self-absorbed and only cares about her own political career.

What Tom said. I don't think she is really interested in being a president for the people as much as she is for just being president. But I would still vote for her if it meant we might not have a neocon in the White House for four more years.

Hi Larry!
I too will support whomever wins the nomination and I did agree with what Olbermann said.

What I really wish, though, is that both the Obama camp and the Clinton camp would stop attacking one another. They should both be stating why they are qualifed and attacking McCain, not each other.

That said, I'm currently leaning towards Obama, although I'm concerned that the latest news about the speeches of his ex pastor may really hurt him.

I guess I will be the lone person who not only doesn't believe in what Keith Olbermann said, but I think he was despicable. It's amazing the way he allows the venom drip from his mouth when speaking about Hillary, and yet, no matter what Obama does, or his surrogates do or say--he either remains mum, or he makes excuses for him.

Case in point, that so called interview he did with Obama after the hateful, racists words from his friend, "mentor" and uncled figure, Reverend Wright made. Obama is trying to make us all believe that he never heard such things from him, this is all new. Bunk! In fact, it was reported that the not so Reverend Wright actually discussed the fact that he may need to distance himself from Obama if he makes it this far in the primary race. Now, why would he tell that to Obama, and why would Obama agree if Obama doesn't know why he needed to "distance" himself. Nice how the Reverend is suddenly on a nice long vacation in Europe so he won't be seen with Obama.

This is a man who Obama said "brought him to Jesus". Which Jesus? The one that Reverend Wright is preaching about? The black Jesus who was hung on the cross by "white Italians" because of the color of his skin? What Bible is Reverend Wright reading from and is that the one that he brought Obama to Jesus with?

I laughed at the interview Keith had with Obama, I'm surprised Keith wasn't standing behind Obama in the chair while giving him a neck massage to ease the tension.

Really, Keith Olbermann has lost all credibility in my eyes. The man is just a tool.

Oh...and if you notice--so far Obama has aligned himself with the friendships (long friendships, 17 yrs. and 20 yrs.) with men of questionable character. He said he believed that Rezko wasn't looking for favors and Rev. Wright was just a holy man who brought him to Jesus. I wonder how he'll see leaders like Putin? I wonder if he'll look into his soul and see a friendly uncle type who would never do anything to harm Americans?

Obama's judgment obviously can't be trusted. He's either naive, stupid, or just a plain liar, none of which are what I want to see in my next President. Haven't we already had eight years of that with Bush?

I agree with you as well Tom.

I concur with your comment as well Snave.

Anajo/Anijo/JoAnn, I'm saying that I have no dog in this fight but Hillary has made me think twice about her motives and the fact that she's saying and doing just what Tom and Snave have stated.

LET'S TALK said...

Mary Ellen, you and I have talked about Obama and Clinton. I don't agree with a lot of what has gone on with his political life as well as Hillay's political life.

I've taken a look at the video and might just put it up at this site.

If you are anyone else cares to watch the video here's the YouTube version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk3Rra3CgMA

I'm with Tom and Snave, etc., Let's Talk. Ferraro's comments were despicable and should have been thoroughly condemned, immediately, by the Clinton campaign at the very least, and by Clinton herself, at best.

Poor Hillary - it's all just a VAST LEFT-WING CONSPIRACY, isn't it? :)

Oh yeah - there's a link to a Petition on my sidebar to put pressure on Sen. Clinton to release her tax return like the other candidates have, if anyone's interested.

We shifted into the Obama camp sometime ago. I am personally amazed at how people could adore one of them and despise the other one, since their voting records make them Senatorial siblings, so I decided after Edwards dropped out to embrace the one who was a more ethical campaigner. Obama is without doubt a far more ethical campaigner than Hill is.

I'm getting tired of Olbermann's sucking up to Obama. He's better at picking at Bush.

LET'S TALK said...

Candace, I will have to agree as well. I'm voting for whomever gets the nominee but this fight that Hillary is waging is wrong.

LET'S TALK said...

JollyRoger you have wrote one of the best post I've read and I must fnd away to post it here if you don't mind.

Parson, what I think Olbermann is trying to do is save this party that Hillary is trying so hard to divide if she can't get her way.

I'm sorry that we see this on a differnt level. I have stated that I will vote for whomever gets the nod and that is true.

I don't know if you have read what Jolly has on his site or Polishifter.

1138 has a great post as well and I'm starting to feel as he does about Hillary. She's just something else.
