Dan Abrams Calls Out Congressman Kingston

Dan Abrams stops Republican Congressman Kingston from playing hardball with his hypocritical rhetoric on Obama.

If Obama becomes the Democratic nominee, most Americans, blogs and even the MSM will put a stop to the Republicans games and smear.

What say you?

I love it that Sen. McCain took the high road and apologized for the talk-show host's remarks (such as referring to Sen. Obama as "the great prophet from Chicago"), and then got in trouble with the so-called religious right for the apology.

The MSM will always suck, unfortunately.

Kingston is great. "Hey, sometimes I wear one!"

Candace, high road? All part of their nefarious plan. Crazy Red Meat Guy drools over bloody flesh, and then The Straight Talk Centrist Maverick® Express sounds like an aw shucks guy. Devious stuff. :)

Kingston is absolutely right! The most crucial issue on the minds of the American people right now is whether a senator is wearing an American flag lapel pin. Everything else is a distant second.

Let the liberals putz around with the war on Iraq and the tanking economy and all that other drivel. When somebody is bankrupt and out of work, the first thing on this person' mind is going to be "why in the F#$%! wasn't Obama wearing an American flag lapel pin???"

Wearing a "button" to symbolize you support anything, makes me see red, but that's because of this damn political correctness! A local girl was recently raped by a young man wearing a "Jesus is the answer" button. In fact, that's how he was caught, and then identified, just hours later.

I really like Dan Abrams. He's one of the few in the media that really didn't engage in the 'Hillary Bashing" rhetoric so many of his collegues did.

LET'S TALK said...

Hi Larry, I think he is just spreading the Republican rhetoric.

LET'S TALK said...

It seems that anyway he turns he is getting it from all sides Candace.

This guy has to flip flop to please all his base.

LET'S TALK said...

Randal Graves, Kingston just spreads what other want him to. He's a mouth not of his own and was called out on said statements.

LET'S TALK said...

Tom Harper, this lets us know what kind of politic during these elections will be played by the Republicans.

LET'S TALK said...

I agree Distributorcap!

Thanks for clearing al of this up with your comments The Future Was Yesterday.

Yes phil_in_ny, Dan is a guy that tells it like it is and holds just enough back to keep things friendly.

LET'S TALK said...

JollyRoger, I think that's what Dan tried to do!

Dan Abrams is very good, but he didn't go nearly far enough.

Abrams neglected to say that the so called "pledge of allegiance" photo was taken when they were NOT saying the pledge.

The lapel pin crap is ridiculous.

Mauigirl said...

It's all ridiculous. The good thing is I personally think Obama can handle it and give it back to them.

Good for Dan Abrams for calling Kingston on this idiocy.

I missed this ( I usually walking the dog at this time of night).....but thanks for sharing..Abrams can get on my nerves....but every now and then...wow..
( and Randall got it right...MSM still sucks..except for Keith...)

LET'S TALK said...

You are right Lizzy, I felt that he should have tried a little harder but that was OK what he did anyway!

LET'S TALK said...

Hi Mauigirl, I thought that you would be enjoying your trip?

How do you find the time, now move away from that laptop and have some fun!

You are very welcome enigma4ever, I loved reading your last two post and the way you are standing up to what you are saying.

I don't think the right-wing smear-and-jeer tactics will subside (they will never stop completely) until we've had at least three elections where voters punish them for doing it by not contributing to and voting for their candidates. Republicans are all about anything to win. Losses will teach them how to behave.

Part of the solution is for Democratic candidates, their surrogates and the rest of us to quickly give them proper hell and throw their nonsense back at them, every time they start up with it.

For example, when John Kerry was being swiftboated, Kerry and the rest of us should've been pointing out what a self-serving farce George W. Bush's military "service" was from start to finish.

I served 12 years in the AF and three in the Air National Guard. I know how they work. You don't jump to the head of a long waiting list to get into an ANG unit unless your old man has lots of political pull. Same goes for becoming a jet pilot. Those slots don't go to C students with no aviation experience or training -- unless your old man has political clout. And, you don't skip physical exams and get an early out simply by asking for one unless your old man has political clout.

Kerry should've repeated those truths until everyone with normal hearing had them burned into their brain, but he didn't. Too much of a gentleman and he didn't believe in negative campaigning.

Having been through the mill for a decade and a half, Hillary Clinton knows how to respond. If Barack Obama is going to be the Democratic nominee, he had better show he can dish it out and throw it back at them like they've never had it thrown back at them before.

Unfortunately, nice guys do finish last, as we saw in 2000 and 2004.
