I know I said that I would have my picks for the Schmooze Awards in my next post. Excuse me, but I had to post this story on Bush before it got old.
Bush has told lawmakers that they had no business trying to manage the war and warned that moving toward withdrawal now would risk "mass killings on a horrific scale." The Democrats, tired of Bush's tuff talk, responded by voting almost totally along party lines to require that the United States withdraw most combat troops from Iraq by April 1, 2008.
Even though the Democrats are trying to fight, there is just not much they can really do accept threaten this President. Since there are not 60 votes in the Senate, Bush will have his way.
What this should tell us is, we need more Democrats in the Senate really to make a difference. By the way the Bush administration has a new slogan...We need a surge of facts. This by Snow who said also "That's one of the things we're going to be working on."
Now comes the lie that Bushes are pushing, "The same folks that are bombing innocent people in Iraq," he said, "were the ones who attacked us in America on September the 11th, and that is why what happens in Iraq matters to the security here at home."
Are we deaf, dumb or crazy? I really would like for someone to answer this question. Has this President lost it with such lies?
Someone needs to tell this Delusional President that Nothing has gotten better in Iraq. Mr. Egghead, incidents have increased. We have had more Americans killed in the last four months than any other period during the war.

Chimpy has been divorced from reality forever.
In Texas, the Lt. Gov actually runs the show; the Governor is mostly a ceremonial figurehead. Chimpy got used to thatin a hurry, and he's gone right on with it through his years in DC.
Barney is more aware of his surroundings, and probably has a higher IQ to boot.
Hi Jolly, I'm sorry I put this post out before I did a proof and made changes.

Anyway, what's sad is also and even more so, that both House's have let him get away with it. How can that be, boggles my mind.
Aside from that, the big picture, if they are indeed our representatives, how is it they never do what we want them to do, and they make up their minds to do whatever they feel like?
I could never get away with that in any job I ever had when I worked for anyone else!
Aaarrgghhh!
I know coffe, this guy and our government play by a different set of rules than the average American know.
I can go for that Lizzy.
It's a shame that Conservative's think that Democrat's only hate Bush and that is what keep our drive to impeach him. They seem to think that what he does is legal and within our Constitution.
They seem to forget they tried to impeach Clinton on hate and ignorance propaganda. They are educated, well off people who seem to be stuck on stupid.
Bush and Cheney must be held accountable for their actions. They are fascists and must be held up to the world as unacceptable leaders for American Democracy. I agree with Lizzy -Impeach, Impeach, Impeach - even if impeachment extends beyond the end of their reign of terror - they should be tried and punished.
Charge, Indict, Impeach
Bring Truth & Justice back to our govt!
Kitchen Window Woman, glad to see you back, welcome. I think that impeachment would be just the thing for these two people. Everyone seems to skip over the same material that almost impeached Clinton:
Constitutional Grounds for Presidential Impeachment:
Hi Q, I've got to visit your site today. I'm sure there's some things I'm missing right now, so I'll see you later.

There's not much the Senate can do, but the House could withhold this year's Defense Appropriations bill. If they have the cojones, of course. No money...no war.
Kvatch, you are right, without the 60 votes, there's not much the Democrats can do.
Bush is right. The people doing the attacks in Iraq really are the same people who attacked us on 9/11. Most of the 9/11 attackers were from Iraq, personally recruited by Osama bin Hussein Laden. Come on, haven't you been watching Fox News and listening to Rush O'Hannity?
Who Hijacked Our Country
kvatch, you are correct, there's not much can be done until we have the 60 votes in the Senate.
Tom Harper, Bush is always right. I've been watching Rush O'Reilly!
