So this is how McCain and Fox reward their looser, but more important this was the kind of information withheld from the average Joe.
McCain and Fox knew Sarah Palin did not qualify to be Vice President as was George Bush. They withheld information vital to Americans making the right decision based on facts and truth.

All water under the bridge now. It was very clear, very early on Palin was not ready for prime time, and a very bad choice.
It does raise the question about keeping all this under wraps until after the election.
She will come out smelling like a rose and more likely become the next Alaska Senator.
I keep wondering if Fox News will now shift a bit to the left...
After all,Murdoch does go where the money is.
wow,,, it was weird that Mr. O'Reilly kept trying to steer that conversation into an area where Governor Palin would be exonerated,,, but it just never came. He looked really sad about that.
PoliShifter, you make a good point about Murdoch, but I do not think that Fox will go nowhere near left or center. Just look how they are cutting into Palin, then there is the fact that all that they are reporting now, was known by Fox.
Jay Urban, Fox seems to be doing a number on Palin right now. Is she really that dumb and why did not McCain vett this woman correctly?
I think Palin was vetted, but the Republican powerbrokers who chose Palin were willing to gamble that none of her shortcomings would matter. And they might have been right.
Millions of dummies fell all over Palin, and every piece of bad news about her was just considered "the media" picking on her. If the global economy wasn't taking a nosedive, McPalin might very well be on their way to the White House.
I agree Tom Harper, that is how the Republican party works their way into the minds of their party.
By their talking heads and the amount of truth they withheld, normally allow them to move any place in the government.
MCain was going to lose whoever "he" picked. I have no doubt he was told who to pick. She did tremendous damage the moment she opened her mouth though.
Peace.
You are right Human, she continues to do damage after the elections.
I don't know LT, do they even matter at this point?
phil_in_ny, she might be trying to build a place for 2012 and the mark that some Republicans are putting on her might be able to tear her down.
Then there is the fact that Fox news and McCain campaign knew that Palin was not qualified to be VP.
This is how Bush was helped to come in to office, because Republicans see now that he really was not qualified and the negative information that was brought out about him was quickly challenged by the Conservatives, even though they knew that the negative information was true.
America never need to let this happen again!
Of course McCain withheld information on how unqualified Palin is. All he could think about was getting himself elected.
Of course Fox News withheld information on how unqualified Palin is. Fox News isn't an ethical news organization, it's a propaganda operation whose mission is to feed red meat to hard core right wingers, support right-wing Republicans and what they want to do, and cast Democrats in the worst possible light at every chance, even by making stuff up.
Great comment SW, I agree with you 100%. It's just crazy that the people that tune in to Fox cannot seem to realize this.
They seem to follow every word as truth. For McCain, the guy really could feel his feet walking into the White House as President and as you said, he would withhold or do anything to become our next President.
The Future Was Yesterday you are so right and to think she can now write her own ticket to big bucks.
What McCain was willing to do to this country for personal glory makes my blood run cold.
I feel the same 1138, what's so scary is what Bush and Paulson have been doing without our knowledge.
Alberto, I hope you are right, Palin is being talked about 2012 run and even a Senate seat.
It doesn't matter. 'Tards don't care about competence as long as you talk about loving your guns, praising Jesus, and liking the "real America."
She'll be back.
Jolly, it makes one wonder if these folks really care about this country at all.
palin will be back in 2012, but the republicans would be silly to nominate her. she's just a female bush.
I think you are right Thomas, but Americans are a strange breed.
Hey that's the party that elected Sonny Bono and, Arnold Schwarzenegger electing Miss Alaska isn't beneath them.
It certainly is not 1138.
McCain... Country First... riggghht!
Anyway, it's clear that this flake's three month's of fame is over
The Republican Governors Association announced its new leadership lineup today after their annual meeting concluded Thursday in Miami.
South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford was voted RGA chairman, taking over the top job from Texas Gov. Rick Perry who will now serve as finance chairman. Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour is vice-chairman, while Florida Gov. Charlie Crist will serve as chair for the annual RGA gala, and Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue will head up the recruitment effort.
Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle, Vermont Gov. Jim Douglas, and Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty will also sit on the RGA’s executive committee.
“Republican Governors are natural leaders who will find solutions to our nation’s challenges and bring back the Party,” Sanford said in a statement.
Not on the list? Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who also attended the Miami meeting.
I hope she just fades away back in Alaska.
That is the FOX/GOP modus operandi: withhold information, but portray themselves as presenting information.
I think that before we see FOX News move to the center, we will see their ratings drop quite a ways. I hope we will see their ratings drop, anyway. I think S.W. has FOX News pegged.
I think the candidate the GOP will be pushing is Bobby Jindal. I was very surprised McCain didn't pick Jindal as his running mate this time. Jindal is already out talking to crowds like he is campaigning for 2012. He is quite far to the right religiously, but worse, he is very intelligent. Heaven help us if the GOP goes his way.
I think Palin will probably run for the Alaska Senate position in 2010 when Lisa Murkowski is up for re-election, but if they have a primary election I think Palin would have a hard time convincing voters she could do a better job for the state than Murkowski has done.
Thus for Palin, I would predict a failed Senate bid in 2010, and then a failed presidential bid in 2012. The pitbull will be back, but I think it will be missing quite a few teeth. There won't be much bite, it will mostly be bark. Once bitten, twice shy? I don't think she has enough on the ball to fool voters a second time.
It's funny but we all know that Palin will have a place in the next elections.
Jindal is just one of many the Republicans will have out there as a Presidential hopeful.
I'm not quite sure how this is vital information that proves Palin is unfit to be VP. It certainly doesn't help my impression of her, but it isn't really earthshattering.
This is the only post I have looked at here, so I don't know how you covered the election, but I would think that if you were talking about hiding things from the people that they should know before the election, you would be talking about all the little tidbits Obama has said and/or done that really put his ability to be president in doubt.
I would like to point out that the evil biased ( ) Fox News broke this story.
