Do You Like That Windows Vista Look?

Do you like Windows Vista look with it's newly revamped Graphical User Interface? Whatever your reasons are, you still can get a Vista like look even on your Win XP system. Click here

I really enjoy the software called RocketDock.

I hate Vista, it is horrible and unreliable.

Too bad Dell is the only one who still has XP.

I have no idea about such stuff. I know we have Vista...I heard it wasn't supposed to be good, but I don't think we've had any problems with it. I leave all that stuff to my husband. I just get on the computer and type. That's the extent of my computer knowledge.

I have Vista as well Larry but use it very little.

This software allows anyone with XP to look like the graphics of Vista but run under XP.

Glad you are not having problems with Vista Mary Ellen. I haven't as of yet had any problems either.

As I mentioned to Larry this is not Vista, it has the graphics of vista and looks of vista.

I looked at some Dell laptop computers for Christmas, but they only come with Vista. I still kind of reluctant to get Vista.

parson- I have a Dell laptop (using it right now) and to be honest with you, I'm not crazy about it. My daughter used to have a Dell and finally dumped it and we bought her a new Mac. She loves the Mac!

Let's Talk-

I hope I'm not stepping out of bounds, but if you don't mind I'd like to make an announcement on your blog that I am having a live blog during the NPR Democratic Debate tomorrow at 2:00 pm EST. Here's the post on my blog that talks all about it.

You and all of your fellow bloggers are welcome to stop over and be a part of the experiment. I'm hoping it will be fun and maybe we'll learn something more about these candidates.

Parson, I recently purchased a Dell desktop for my home office and so far it works OK.

I am very satisfied with XP on my PCs. It's pretty rock-solid.

The graphical stuff looks cool in Vista, but I heard it's very buggy.
They released it too soon.

Another thing about Vista is it takes up to much room, takes a lot to even run it. Vista does look good but to me it just uses to much dead space.

Hu Lizzy, I thought I would show software that would allow XP to look like vista.

I like xp as well and just thought I would change the look.

Hi Floyd, I hear you loud and clear. This site I introduse just loads certain parts of Vista on XP to give it that Vista look.

My wife got a new laptop from the Best Buy bargain bin. The first thing I did was strip off Vista and replace it with XP Professional.

As for me, I stick to Linux Mint. It is easy to set up, works flawlessly, and is also dirt simple to update-perhaps even moreso than Windows. And stable! I have left this PC up for weeks without having a problem.

Hi enigma4ever, I understand, I am just the opposite.

Emmanuel M Liu, new is what make things better sometimes. In this case, there's a lot of thing to clear up with Vista.

Jolly thanks for the Link, I'll look into it. My son's computer is down and I'm not sure if I will install XP Pro or Vista.
