I Got Tagged - Blogs That Make You Think

I got tagged by Reconstitution, It's an honor to be placed in such a Tag Award, and I'll try to give the sites that makes one think.

The rules, created by The Thinking Blog, are thus:

1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,
3. Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote (here is an alternative silver version if gold doesn't fit your blog).

Below are the five blogs I chose that makes you Think.

1. Who Hijacked Our Country - This site is by Tom Harper, who seems to come up with information that most readers never knew about. I would say that I read his post's almost daily.

2. VARIOUS ECSTASIES - snave is the author of this site.... when I stop by and read what has been posted for the day, it's as if I've dictated to him what I wanted to say, but he writes it much better than I ever could.

3. Major Conflict - The owner of this site is J Marquis, and he gives you the MSM news combined with his little touch that makes it interesting. He always throw in a little comedy or photo's that makes you smile.

4. Liberty Lost - This site belongs to 1138, There is a lot of short posts that refer you to the original sites, which bring on an interesting comment section... but when a post is really put together, it really makes one think.

5. Funky Town Fighter - She will never cease in telling you exactly what she thinks about and issue. Funky town fighter use the kind of verbal rants that gets right to the point with no holding back.

"Holy Cow Batman" Bush Don't Think Troops Need Bigger Pay Raises

Troops don’t need bigger pay raises, Bush budget officials said the administration "strongly opposes" both the 3.5 percent raise for 2008 and the follow-on increases, calling extra pay increases "unnecessary."

It was so necessary to get the billions to waste in Iraq, but not necessary to raise the pay for the troops.

The Bush administration had asked for a 3 percent military raise for Jan. 1, 2008, enough to match last year’s average pay increase in the private sector. The House Armed Services Committee recommends a 3.5 percent pay increase for 2008, and increases in 2009 through 2012 that also are 0.5 percentage point greater than private-sector pay raises.

The slightly bigger military raises are intended to reduce the gap between military and civilian pay that stands at about 3.9 percent today. Under the bill, HR 1585, the pay gap would be reduced to 1.4 percent after the Jan. 1, 2012, pay increase.

Bush budget officials said the administration “strongly opposes” both the 3.5 percent raise for 2008 and the follow-on increases, calling extra pay increases “unnecessary.”

“When combined with the overall military benefit package, the president’s proposal provides a good quality of life for service members and their families,” the policy statement says. “While we agree military pay must be kept competitive, the 3 percent raise, equal to the increase in the Employment Cost Index, will do that.”

"Holy cow, Batman" there's even more this President oppose for our troops!

The Gavel has the $40/month allowance for military survivors that he oppose, he thinks the current benefits are "sufficient."

"Creepers Robin," what kind of message does that send the Troops?

Greensburg, Kansas & The National Guard

WHAT SAY YOU?

The Kansas National Guard has 40 soldiers and 12 airmen on duty providing security. Approximately 64 soldiers of the 891st Engineer Battalion, headquartered in Iola, will arrive in Greensburg Monday morning, May 7, along with chainsaws and light engineering equipment to assist with debris removal.

The Civil Air Patrol has been conducting reconnaissance flights along the tornado’s path to search for possible tornado victims, stranded motorists and residents.

The Kansas Highway Patrol has 16 troopers on duty in the Greensburg area manning checkpoints, security patrols and search and rescue operations. The KHP communications van and three personnel are also in Greensburg assisting with communications.

What if the next city has a population of 150,000... I was so down hearted after this that I posted "field of gold" by Sting live 1993, the song has nothing to do with this but it was what I wanted to hear. To listen go to Let's Talk About It.

Who You Gonna Call

Click Photo

See Original Story

It seems every time Bush has a problem with the war in Iraq and things are just not really going his way.... we get a new video from his ENEMY.

It's as if he gives these folks a call and they come to his aid in some type of way.

Al Qaeda's No. 2 leader mocks President Bush and legislation requiring the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, saying the bill would rob the group's fighters of the chance to kill more Americans.

This is enough, how long are we going to be stuck on stupid... am I the only one that sees a pattern?

The Veto

Four years ago our President declared "major combat operations" in Iraq were over, yesterday President Bush vetoed a bill that calls for the start of a withdrawal of American troops from Iraq.

President Bush's Administration have already started their talking points-- saying the Democrats will be to blame for any hardships suffered by U.S. troops and their families.

Speaker Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Reid addressed the media yesterday in respond to President Bush's veto.

Congress appropriated more than $100 billion to support our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. It would seem that it's now up to this President to explain to the American people why he would veto the appropriation.

Say It Ant So George

See Original Story

According to the Washington Post, While television sets worldwide showed images of New Orleans residents begging to be rescued from rooftops as floodwaters rose, U.S. officials turned down countless offers of allied troops and search-and-rescue teams. The most common responses: "sent letter of thanks" and "will keep offer on hand," the new documents show.

Overall, the United States declined 54 of 77 recorded aid offers from three of its staunchest allies: Canada, Britain and Israel, according to a 40-page State Department table of the offers that had been received as of January 2006.

You've just got to read this story to believe it...In one exchange, State Department officials anguished over whether to tell Italy that its shipments of medicine, gauze and other medical supplies spoiled in the elements for weeks after Katrina's landfall on Aug. 29, 2005, and were destroyed. "Tell them we blew it," one disgusted official wrote. But she hedged: "The flip side is just to dispose of it and not come clean. I could be persuaded."

Now I ask, how much lower can these people go... what say you?

What's your Opinion

I watched a video called Unarmed Civilians and all I had was questions about what went on before the shooting started and who were the people in the two cars that passed by and how were they involved?

I next went to a site where a true Republican gave his honest opinion about this war and his hero George Bush... below is my question and his comment:

What is your opinion of these "Unarmed Civilians"

"I do not see the unarmed civilians you are speaking of and besides why in hell are you looking for reasons to attack our soldiers. I would hope to hell you aren't an American, with this outrageous attack on our soldiers in combat. You are an embarrassment to our great country attacking our soldiers by even questioning their actions when you don't possibly know all the details behind this video."

Was the Republican who made the above statement correct... did I really ask the wrong question or have I attacked our soldiers?

I cant see where I am questioning their actions by asking a question... am I wrong?

What say you?

Above His Party

I know most bloggers have seen this video and there is some who want watch it for whatever reasons. Maybe the truth is to hard to bear or just maybe when a party or a man within a particular party is considered their God, it's just to hard to face the truth or see it.

Just remember no one man, group of men or party should be above the country.

Why Cant We See The Truth

Before she was captured by the Iraqis, Jessica Lynch "fought fiercely and shot several enemy soldiers...firing her weapon until she ran out of ammunition" According to the Post account, which was based on anonymous sources citing battlefield reports, Lynch kept firing "even after she sustained multiple gunshot wounds." By her own account, none of that happened. She never fired her weapon and was knocked unconscious when her vehicle crashed, waking up hours later in an Iraqi hospital.

America, you tried to impeach former President Clinton for lying about sex and yet you continually allow President Bush to lie to you about the war in Iraq.

Just when will you began to realize that men and women are dying everyday in this war. Maybe you don't care because your son, daughter, father or mother are not asked to make a sacrifice.

Maybe it's because this President unlike our former, is a Republican and we know that in America we are all about our party... they can do no wrong in our eyes.

Jessica Lynch tell's us about the lies and still we do nothing... why?

Earth Day and Global Warming

Sunday was Earth Day and almost all politicians had their view on how to slow down global warming.

I still cant understand what Karl Rove was ranting when he said to Laurie David and Sheryl Crow that China was not doing enough thus neither should we.

The (IPCC) has issued its report on global warming Download SUMMARY FOR POLICYMAKERS.

Since the theory is that human actions are causing the planet to heat to this catastrophic degree, what then can we do to reverse it?

Shooter Had To Be A Liberal

According to Rush Limbaugh the perpetrator of the Virginia Tech shootings "had to be a liberal,"

He even had the nerve to say Democrats are the people sponsoring lies and distortion for the purposes of dividing this country and creating hatred.

What is wrong with the people in this country, have we lost all sense and compassion?

Republicans Hailed Medicare Part D negotiation Bill Vote A Victory For Seniors

Senate Republicans blocked the Medicare Part D negotiation bill that would allow the government to negotiate drug prices for the Medicare prescription drug benefit and they called it a victory for the Seniors.

The bill would have allowed the Secretary of Health and Human Services to make deals with the pharmaceutical industry.

Our Congress had already passed a stronger version, which would have made negotiations mandatory.

President Bush said that he would veto either version of the bill if they came to him.

Just who is this a victory for and why?

Why I Started To Share My Thoughts

I was once content with writing programs, surfing the net and reading a few blogs. I notice while reading blogs, more than 90 percent were conservatives, giving their opinion and being mean spirit about any thing and any one that did not agree with them or have the same view that they had.

When I first started to blog, I tried to be somewhat in the middle and just let others give their opinion on what I talked about. The problem with doing that, brought on the same thing that I had been reading, when I just went to other blogs.

Mostly conservatives, giving opinions that I didn't agree with and I wondered, where in the world are the Democrats and the Independants?

Since I found very few people to stand up to some of the junk that some conservatives were saying. I just decided to just give my own opinion on how I felt about things and low and behold, all I hear, in a nasty way are conservatives, saying all kind of things to me.

Let me just say this, BRING IT ON! I'm an ex-Marine and I know that I can deal with the things that they have to say.

I have a comment that I would like to share with you; "Your site is an utter insult to Christians everywhere. To not support Bush is borderline heresy. Jesus was not pro-gay and pro-abortion! Read the Bible!!"

Well sir I ask you, how can my site be an insult to Christians everywhere just because I don't support Bush?

As for pro gay, Sir let me just say this. I can't judge a man because he choose to be gay or he is gay for what ever reason. His life style is not my business. If I have a friend and he is gay, then he is my friend, not gay friend, but friend. I'm not going to let you choose for me whom I get to like or dislike, that's up to me and Sir, I have no reason to dislike gays, you or anyone.

On pro-abortion, you have no way to know how I feel about abortion, but let me tell you any way. I can't feel what a woman feels in her body and I have no right to choose for her if she should or should not have a child. Sir, that's her business, not mines or yours. I'm calling you Sir because I've been to your site and I know that you are a man.

I was going to put the information that I'm going to talk about now, on my other site Let's Talk About It, but I feel that it should be said here.

In 1893 Julia Ward Howe, brought up Religion and what that word means to us, as a people. "Religion is the pursuit of the devine in the human, the sacrifice of everything to duty for the sake of God and of humanity and of our own individual dignity. Nothing is religion which puts one individual absolutely above others, and surely nothing is religion that puts one sex above another. Religion is primarily our relation to the Supreme, to God himself. It is for him to judge; it is for him to say where we belong, who is highest and who is not; of that we know nothing. And any religion which will sacrifice a certain set of human beings for the enjoyment or aggrandizement or advantage of another is no religion. Any religion which sacrifice women to the brutality of men is no religion."

Now with that said, Let's Talk!

Bush Filling Up Valhalla

It would seem our President implemented the surge to protect the new 104 acres embassy being built in Iraq.

The Valhalla, should be full very soon, because a proposal to extend the tour of duty for every active duty soldier in Iraq by three (3), months is waiting for approval.

The fortress-like compound rising beside the Tigris River in Bagdad will be the largest of its kind in the world, the size of Vatican City, with the population of a small town.

We are not intending to leave Iraq, not when BP and Shell in Britain, and Exxon and Chevron in the US, will be signing deals of up to 30 years to extract Iraq’s oil and live in the new embassy that is being built to house them.

There's no way this President will agree to bring our soldiers home anytime soon, they are needed to insure the safety and protection of the new embassy and oil that will be flowing out of Iraq.

The surge will probably go on through all of this year and into 08, with no let up on the all volunteer service.

This President shows a lot of nepotism to oil companies and big business, at the expense of our soldiers. This move is very pithy and I'm sure that our Congress and Senate knows about it.

There's a law called the hydrocarbon law and if passed, the law will make available to Exxon/Mobil, Chevron/Texaco, BP/Amoco, and Royal Dutch/Shell about 4/5’s of the stupendous petroleum reserves in Iraq.

So, Valhalla had better make room, because we are not coming out of Iraq any time soon... look for the veto.

What say you?

Riddle Me this, You Conservative Bloggers

Vice President Cheney always bad mouth anyone who talks against the war in Iraq... he's always making the talking points in favor of this President .

I guess you would say, that's what a Vice President is suppose to do.

Now let me ask you this; How can this Vice President say that we are sending the troops the wrong message, when we speak out against the war in Iraq or if we speak out against this President?

Riddle me this--- what kind of message is this Vice President sending the troops in Iraq and at Walter Reed, when he never even bothered to make a trip there to visit our wounded?

Can you name or show me any evidence, where this Vice President is shown at Walter Reed with our wounded?

What say you?

The White House And Conservative News Show Try To Smear Pelosi's Trip

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is being smeared by The White House for her impending visit to Damascus. Bill Kristol repeated the attack on Fox news.

The White House accused Sen. Pelosi of failing to heed the administration's admonitions against traveling to Damascus.

Now we find out that three Republicans, were in Syria yesterday and not a word from the White House or Kristol.

Sunday, Reps. Frank Wolf, Joe Pitts and Robert Aderholt met with Syrian President Bashar Assad in Damascus... These men are Republicans, so what's the problem here America?

Conservatives are so quick to say bad things about MSM, but constantly follow this White House of lies and the conservative talking points.

Was The President Sincere?

Was President Bush sincere when he said this; "It is not right to have someone volunteer to wear our uniform and not get the best possible care. I apologize for what they went through, and we're going to fix the problem." This ws said during his visit at Walter Reed.

Democratic Senator Patty Murray, says veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan have been lost in the system.

"We are now starting the fifth year of this war. And to date, this president has not planned and supported funding to make sure that those men and women, whether it is traumatic brain injury, whether they've lost a limb, whether it's post-traumatic-stress syndrome, or whether it's just coming home and being able to find another job, have been paid attention to," she said.

What say you America... does this President's apology sound sincere?

Stop To Start: GOP Rules Objection!

"we've just received word that the Republicans have objected under the Senate rules to this meeting continuing. I think that's unfortunate, but I will follow the rules of the Senate... The Republicans are the ones who don't want to have the hearings, the Republicans have the right under the rules to do that.... we will stand in recess until the Senate recesses."

During todays hearing, the Republican senators objected that the hearing violated Senate rules. You know the one that states; hearings are supposed to end by 2pm, unless the Senators go behind closed doors and agree to waive the rule.

Senator Leahy said, the hearings would not be stopped, and he'd hold them on nights and weekends if he needed to.

What in the world is going on with the GOP... are they still under King George's spell?

Settle Down Mr. President, There's A New Sheriff In Town!

Nancy Pelosi to the President, "Calm down with the threats," she said. "There's a new Congress in town. We accept your constitutional role. We want you to accept ours."

This is not a monarchy, Mr. President, you have less than two (2), years to run this country into the ground.

Any time, a country has voted for change in it's direction to a war and the way in which this country is ran... it's time for you, the President to listen.

You can no longer dictate to this Congress and the American People. What we have here George, is a constitutional form of government.

Your branch of office is just one of the three branches that we have in America. Oh and all three (3), branchs are equal.

No, No, No King George, you are not over the other two... your word or pen, is not the only one that makes law.

Oh and by the way Mr. President, our Congress are the one's that has the right to declare war. They gave up that power to you, because of the fear and lies you and your Administration fed us.

The Constitution of the United States, Article II: Section 4.
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Just stop it with the blame game, you said "If Congress fails to pass a bill to fund our troops on the front lines, the American people will know who to hold responsible."

Wouldn't that be you King George... you're the one talking about a veto of the bill to fund the Troops because of a mandatory withdrawal deadline for nearly all combat troops on Sept. 1, 2008.

This is not your Republican House Mr. President, there's a new Sheriff in town, so get use to it.

HE'S NOT THE DECIDER FOR THE UNITED STATES SENATE

"What we're told we can get is nothing, nothing, nothing," said Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., the Judiciary chairman. "I know he's the decider for the White House _ he's not the decider for the United States Senate."

So be it... the fight has begun, between the executive and legislative branches. Even though we haven't heard from Karl Rove, the White House has stated that he and his deputies can talk to lawmakers in private as the best deal Democrats are going to get.

Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, vowed he would not step aside and promised to cooperate with Congress in the inquiry. He also stated, "I'm not going to resign, no U.S. Attorney was fired for improper reasons."

As Talks go on behind the scenes, the White House and majority Democrats engaged in strategic posturing before the cameras. King George and his Court stands firm, not knowing that the new Sheriff (Democrat), in town is standing firm, just willing to let this King know, that when all the dust settles, not all the Kings Court including his Neocon friends, will be able to put King George back together again.

Even the comedians are getting in on the fun. Watch a clip of the Daily Show for laughs.

HONORABLE PUBLIC SERVANTS

"We will not go along with a partisan fishing expedition aimed at honorable public servants. ... I have proposed a reasonable way to avoid an impasse."

These are the words of President Bush... has this man lost his mind?

The President's proposed reasonable way to avoid an impasse, is to have his public servants... according to Fielding, "conduct interviews that are private and conducted without the need for an oath, transcript, subsequent testimony or the subsequent issuance of subpoenas," this was in a letter to the Senate and House Judiciary committees and their ranking Republicans today.

This President needs to look up Contempt of Congress... at this point a partisan fishing expedition is not what this Congress is about.

This Congress wants answers ... while this President makes threats and thinks this Congress is still controlled by his once loyal Republican party.

There's a new sheriff in town King George and he's called Democrat!

A PATTERN OF BEHAVIOR

original story

A US grand jury in Guam opened an investigation of controversial lobbyist Jack Abramoff more than two years ago, but President Bush removed the supervising federal prosecutor, and the probe ended soon after.

In Guam, a US territory in the Pacific, investigators were looking into Abramoff's secret arrangement with Superior Court officials to lobby against a court reform bill then pending in Congress. The legislation, since approved, gave the Guam Supreme Court authority over the Superior Court.

US Attorney Frederick A. Black was demoted by non other than President Bush.

Today in a letter to the House and Senate Judiciary Committees, Reps. George Miller (D-CA) and Nick Rahall (D-WV) urge Congress to investigate "the potential political manipulation by Jack Abramoff and his allies in Congress and the Administration" in the Black case.

Now I ask you, what else is needed to show that our country has been run by a President, his Administration and a Republican House and Senate that have done some nasty deeds, that may or may not be criminal.

It's just a shame that the conservative blogs are now throwing up former President's Carter and Clinton and what they did in the past.

What we have here are conservatives saying just what the talking heads put out there as talking points and as usual, they pick up on it and run.

What we have here is a failure of leadership... leadership that's suppose to run this country for the good of the people.

What we have here, is a pattern of behavior, where this President and his Administration have done some really nasty things, maybe not criminal but you know what they say... things that are done in the dark, will come out in the light and the light is shining all over this Republican party.

MAYBE A DRAFT IS IN ORDER

At Fort Benning, soldiers who were classified as medically unfit to fight are now being sent to war. Is this an isolated incident or a trend?

What in the world is going on with our military?

According to Salon.com, As the military scrambles to pour more soldiers into Iraq, a unit of the Army's 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Benning, Ga., is deploying troops with serious injuries and other medical problems, including GIs who doctors have said are medically unfit for battle. Some are too injured to wear their body armor, according to medical records.

This is the 3rd time that the 3rd Brigade will be leaving for Iraq. "In fact, some of the troops with medical conditions interviewed by Salon last week are already gone. Others are slated to fly out within a week, but are fighting against their chain of command, holding out hope that because of their ills they will ultimately not be forced to go."

Conservatives always talk about this being and all volunteer Service, in fact they want us to stay there until the job is done. Well my conservative friends, why dont you ask some of the service members if they really want to be there simply because they are all volunteers.

Then to show that this all volunteer Service is not enough to cover both wars on terror, we have called up the Reserves and still they are not enough for this new surge.

When you send injured Service members back into combat... it's time for some other options.

I know, get some of those college students that are for this war and with this President and let them go over to Iraq and help out... I mean, since they are so with this President and this war.

Maybe we should call on some of the most conservative war mongers to enlist their sons and daughters to this surge and war, since we no longer have enough troops to fight anymore.

What do you say...you talk the talk, but can you conservatives walk the walk?

IS THERE AN INDEPEDENT?

I dont know about most Americans, but I'm sure tired of the same old song by both Republicans and Democrats.

If there's any average American, you know the one that works from pay check to pay check...out there that feels that any of the candidates in the Republican party are worth their vote, then that person has lost his or her mind.

Name one thing that the Republican party has done for the average American?

I sure could name the things that they have went against, that was for our best interest.

Evangelical Christians, you should know this already. This President, your Church Leaders and the Republican party saw you coming. They've played upon you for votes, money and fed you a bunch of lies all in the name of Religion and Morals.

Then we have the Democrats, the party that promise the world, but when we Americans needed a voice most, they sit back in fear and voted with this President to send our men and women to a war that was made up on lies.

We wanted a Congress that would put a stop to the madness, but they tremble in fear of being called responsible for losing this war if they cut funds or stop the troop surge. Where's the Democrats heart, where's the Democrats backbone?

Where's an Indepedent?

THE MAN WHO SHOULD HAVE BEEN PRESIDENT

Now older and a little plump, well fat... the man who should have been President received his due for global warming.

In August 1998 then Vice President Al Gore called on Congress to pass a new multi-million-dollar initiative to combat global warming.

During his bid for President, a story written by Michelle Mittelstadt appeared on the AP wire. The headline came from an interview at CNN, stating that Gore claimed that he created the Internet. The Republicans put there spin on it and all of America believed it.

The fact is that "Gore is the person who, in the Congress, most systematically worked to make sure that we got to an Internet", that's what Newt Gingrich said, September 1, 2000.

GINGRICH: "In all fairness, it’s something Gore had worked on a long time. Gore is not the Father of the Internet, but in all fairness, Gore is the person who, in the Congress, most systematically worked to make sure that we got to an Internet, and the truth is—and I worked with him starting in 1978 when I got [to Congress], we were both part of a “futures group”—the fact is, in the Clinton administration, the world we had talked about in the ’80s began to actually happen".

David Maraniss, 8/26/00: Gore really was instrumental in developing the Internet. He was the one congressman who understood the whole thing in the ’70s
.

So my Republican friends stop quoting the spin and read the FACTS as to what was said and what really happened.

Now with that out of the way, let's now take a look at the war we are in with Iraq.

Al Gore - September 23, 2002
"I'm speaking today in an effort to recommend a specific course of action for our country, which I sincerely believe would be better for our country than the policy that is now being pursued by President Bush. Specifically, I am deeply concerned that the course of action that we are presently embarking upon with respect to Iraq has the potential to seriously damage our ability to win the war against terrorism and to weaken our ability to lead the world in this new century."

I believe Al Gore would have read the intelligence reports and acted on them, whereas President Bush spent most of his time on the ranch, ignoring any intelligence reports.

Remember, even Russia, tried to give President Bush reports of terrorist hijacking plans... I guess his vacation time at the Ranch didn't call for him reading any reports about any threats to this country.

There's a push for Gore to run again, but there's a lot to be cleaned up, about the spin and the lies still out there in the minds of a lot of Americans, still believing those lies and spins... remember some folks still think that Iraq had something to do with 9/11.

What say you ?

May 15, 2002: The Bush Administration is embarrassed when the CBS Evening News reveals that Bush had been warned about al-Qaeda domestic attacks in August 2001. Bush had repeatedly said that he had "no warning" of any kind.

Stop the lies and please stop spending the tax payers money on your made up war in Iraq... find the people responsible for 9/11.

MR. PRESIDENT, JUST WHO ARE YOU FOR?

Mr. President you said... "If you're not for us, you're against us." Well just who are you for?

You have yet to show any outrage over the conditions at Walter Reed Army Hospital, where our wounded service men and women go.

You do still remember Walter Reed, there are pictures of you visiting the wounded... I'm sure you had to see the conditions there.

President Bush and his administration always question others patriotism. If critized, they come up with how the troops are being sent the wrong message.

Mr. President, what message are you sending the troops when they dont hear from you about the conditions at
Walter Reed
?

What message are you sending when you allow your administration to put the blame on the Pentagon?

You say that you are for us and not against us... why dont YOU start showing us, by doing something more then letting your administration find others in the government to blame during your watch!

What say you America?

WHY ARE WE IN IRAQ?

President Bush was forced to admit unambiguously that Saddam Hussein had no WMDs and the intelligence they touted on that issue was wrong.

From Douglas J. Feith, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz and Vice President Cheney's false information and all of them insisting that there was a clear relationship between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaida, was just a lie...but why did they do this?

The neoconservative think-tank (PNAC), Project for the New American Century writes a blueprint for the creation of a global Pax Americana. The document, entitled Rebuilding America's Defenses: Strategies, Forces and Resources for a New Century, was written for the Bush team even before the 2000 Presidential election.

We have heard a lot of reasons from the Republican talking heads, but only President Bush can give us the truth as to why over 3000 American men and women have died in Iraq.

Only this President can tell us why we are in Iraq, right?

What say you America?

WHAT DONT I GET ABOUT THIS PRESIDENT

For bushflash music video click photo

SEE ORIGINAL STORY

I was watching c-span and I heard a woman talk about how she loved her President and he could do nothing wrong.

I thought maybe she didn't know this President that she loves so well has plans to cut funding for veterans health care two years from now.

Then again, maybe she's OK with that...she's not over there fighting or feeling what the injured veterans feel.

I thought maybe she had a son or daughter fighting in Iraq, but she didn't mention any family in Iraq. She only talked about how she supports him and the war that he caused.

The critics say, Bush is using the cuts to help fulfill his pledge to balance the budget by 2012.

The cuts come even as the number of veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars is expected to increase 26 percent next year.

It's scary that this man can start a war, then use the poor and middle class to fight the war. Cut the funding to help the injured from this war and say he's for us.

Help me out America, I know that I'm not the smartest man out here, so what is it that I'm not understanding about this President?

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES

For close up click picture to enlarge

I've talked about the new home I had built last year. Well I found a picture that was taken last September, a month before I moved in.

Notice the damage to the garage door and on the leftside of the house near the basement entrance, there's an AC unit that's not working properly.

I look back on this now and thank God that I started and finished this project, based on how much pain I suffered with the two (2), deaths in my life in 06.

My oldest son moved out and got his own home, a few months before I moved into my new home.

I thought he would stay in the old house, but that was not to be. Just recently he married and is doing great. He and his wife was at the house Saturday, which made me happy.

After he and I talked, I know now not to look for any new babies running around no time soon.

Speaking of babies, my youngest son who just turned 15 last month seems to think the basement belongs to him. There's a game room located down there with his name on it, well at least he thinks so.

I just thought I would get away from the politics for a moment and just let you know where I'm at right now.

Be safe America and may God bless you all.

A QUESTION FOR ATHEIST

I've visited a lot of Atheists site recently and they all dismiss Jesus and God.

I have a question for all Atheists:

How did the Universe create an ideal world for intelligent life to appear and evolve with no other such world like it in existence?

JUST WHY ARE THERE ATHEISTS

I was reading about the Origins of the World from The Nag Hammadi Library it sounds alot like what I've read in the Bible, Ezekiel 1 1-28.

After reading the Gnostics view of GOD, then reading what the Bible says no wonder there's Atheists.

At Alter Net there's a post about the new book by Jack Huberman called The Quotable Atheist: Ammunition for Nonbelievers, Political Junkies, Gadflies, and Those Generally Hell-Bound.

It's about collected powerful quotations against organized religion and belief in God from figures such as Richard Dawkins, Phyllis Diller, Frederick Douglass, Michael Moore, Katha Pollitt, and yes, Jerry Falwell.

"My aim in compiling The Quotable Atheist was to heal our broken planet, essentially by eliminating the religious part. Not with nuclear weapons or lesser acts of mass murder, no -- that's the religious style, nowadays, in certain quarters -- but through argument, persuasion, and most of all (since I know perfectly well that argument is utterly useless against dumb, blind faith, and just wanted to pay it lip service), the steady application of powerfully abrasive ridicule which will slowly but surely erode away the offending continent. I'm serious. Do I really believe this book will convert believers and turn them from the path of self-righteousness to the path of righteousness?"

You will have to go to Alter Net or buy the book to read anymore.

I find it very confusing when Atheists claim that there's no God, then they say that maybe Albert Einstein was one of them, an atheist.

That's interesting, I was at the hospital the other day and for some strange reason during my exam, the doctor and I got into a discussion about death and God.

He brought up the fact that Albert Einstein believed in a divine Being and the dicussion went from there.

See Albert Einstein "At first, then, instead of asking what religion is I should prefer to ask what characterizes the aspirations of a person who gives me the impression of being religious: a person who is religiously enlightened appears to me to be one who has, to the best of his ability, liberated himself from the fetters of his selfish desires and is preoccupied with thoughts, feelings, and aspirations to which he clings because of their superpersonalvalue. It seems to me that what is important is the force of this superpersonal content and the depth of the conviction concerning its overpowering meaningfulness, regardless of whether any attempt is made to unite this content with a divine Being, for otherwise it would not be possible to count Buddha and Spinoza as religious personalities. Accordingly, a religious person is devout in the sense that he has no doubt of the significance and loftiness of those superpersonal objects and goals which neither require nor are capable of rational foundation. They exist with the same necessity and matter-of-factness as he himself. In this sense religion is the age-old endeavor of mankind to become clearly and completely conscious of these values and goals and constantly to strengthen and extend their effect. If one conceives of religion and science according to these definitions then a conflict between them appears impossible. For science can only ascertain what is, but not what should be, and outside of its domain value judgments of all kinds remain necessary. Religion, on the other hand, deals only with evaluations of human thought and action: it cannot justifiably speak of facts and relationships between facts. According to this interpretation the well-known conflicts between religion and science in the past must all be ascribed to a misapprehension of the situation which has been described."

In other words, just as ,Baruch Spinoza believed God was Nature/Universe, good old Albert believed that there was something as did Spinoza.

Spinoca said Substance cannot be caused.
Proof: Something can only be caused by something which is similar to itself, in other words something that shares its attribute. But according to premise 2, no two substances can share an attribute. Therefore substance cannot be caused.
Substance is infinite.

So to Jack Huberman I'ld say, beyond the quotes everything is brought on, meaning wars and disagreements in this world today not because of religion, but because and about money.

God is fact and that's all to it. Just look at the point that all are waiting for this Country to start Stem Cell research.

We've just learned that extracted fat tissue through liposuction that don't require cultivation can produce 28 million cells that can be use for any number of things to cure man of just about anything.

Then there's other stem cells that repair damaged joints with patient's own stem cells called Three-dimensional fabric "scaffold" which repair cartilage damage in any joint.

So dont tell me that there's no GOD.
Timothy 3:1-17

WHY DON'T WE SPEAK UP

It seems that every American is sitting on hold, just waiting to see if Humpty Dumpty will have a great fall!

What's the problem America? Why can't you see that not his Vice President nor the Senate Republicans will be able to put King George back together again.

Have you heard how his no plan in the Iraq war cause 363 tons of bills, by the pallet load passed out from the back of pickup trucks wasted a lot of our tax dollars.

Now he has the nerve to aske Congress to approve $700 billion in new military spending -- much of it for the Iraq war.

Then he has the nerve to decrease medicare and medicade, after throwing away $12 billion dollars. Come on America, what do we the people do about this?

Then to make matters worse, old Humpty warned that even more money for Iraq could be needed, as he unveiled a $2.9 trillion budget request for fiscal 2008.

Needed for what? Another truck load of give aways.

What say you America?

THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT

Thanks to President Bush, his Administration, the Republican House and Senate, the Conservative radio and Television media and lastly you die hard Republican Party with the Evangelical Christians. We are in a War that we can not get out of.

A war that you all planned, cheered, talked and lied for. According to the National Intelligence Council, We cannot leave Iraq. They suggest if we pull our troops out, it would cause or draw Iraq neighbors into this mess that this President and company caused.

Just how do we get out of this now? Do we just turn tail and run as most conservative blogs say Democrats are talking about doing?

Stop with the same old mess that Democrats voted to allow this President to go to war at his pleasure. The Democrats, like all of the House and Senate was lied to by this Administration.

What can be done when you have a President not hearing what others are telling him about this civil war. What can be done when you have conservative radio, television and blogs telling people that this President is right and we who speak out are sending some kind of crazy message to our troops.

Give me a break and you Republicans and Evangelical Christians should wake up and see this mess for what it is! A big mistake, born from a lie from whatever reason our President got us into.

What say you America?

SAY HELLO TO MY NEW RENTER

Say hello to my new renter SUNFLOWER, and dont forget to pay her a visit!

I'M BACK!

Well folks I think that I'm back to my blogspot. I tried to write a few months ago and nothing was there.
I've almost recovered from my surgery from last year, the death of my friend in New York and the death of my Uncle. Well I dont think that those deaths have set well with me yet.
I'm in the Home that I had built in October and I was lucky to rent my old home out to a nice single Mother with three (3), kids.
I've started to read a lot of other Blogs and I see that nothing has changed much with those Conservatives, who still think that our President is the best thing that could happen for this Country.
I'll be here if you need a touch up on this President and his true side. Remember I can see right through him. So Let's Talk!

NOW THE HOUSE MIGHT BE THE HOLD UP ON MINIMUM WAGE

On Thursday the Senate voted a 94-3 vote to passed an increase in the minimum wage from $5.15 to $7.25 an hour over two years. The bill will also consist of extended small business tax cuts, close off some corporate tax loopholes and rein in executive compensation.

Because of this the House Democrats are insisting that the tax provisions be removed. Our President has warned "I strongly encourage the House to support this combined minimum wage increase and small business tax relief," Why all the fuss?

According to the The Washington Post the bill would extend for five years a tax credit for businesses that hire the disadvantaged and would provide expensing and depreciation advantages to small companies, including retailers that own their own stores. The tax breaks would be paid for by closing loopholes on offshore tax shelters, by capping deferred compensation payments to corporate executives and by removing the deductibility of punitive damage payments and fines.

I can't see anything wrong with this bill, so why are the Democrats being so pickie on this?

DID PRESIDENT BUSH LIE TO US AGAIN?

Did President Bush lie to Americans again during his State of the Union speech?

Here's what he said:

"Our success in this war is often measured by the things that did not happen. We cannot know the full extent of the attacks that we and our allies have prevented, but here is some of what we do know: We stopped an al Qaeda plot to fly a hijacked airplane into the tallest building on the West Coast. We broke up a Southeast Asian terror cell grooming operatives for attacks inside the United States. We uncovered an al Qaeda cell developing anthrax to be used in attacks against America. And just last August, British authorities uncovered a plot to blow up passenger planes bound for America over the Atlantic Ocean. For each life saved, we owe a debt of gratitude to the brave public servants who devote their lives to finding the terrorists and stopping them."

Tonight, Olbermann gave us a follow up to what was fact and what was not.

BUSH KNOWS HOW TO START A FIGHT

Click Photo

It seems that Bush now wants to start a fight next door to Iraq, I just wish that he and his Vice President had this type of a fight in them when they both had the chance.

I must say though, this President knows how to start a fight, even though this one might be a little hard to do without the authorization for such a mistake.

I just cant see how, we as Americans let this man send our troops over to Iraq to fight a war that was made with lies.

I cant see how any American can say that this President is for us, when all of his actions show that he is against us.

He seems not to listen to any good advice that is given. Is this how he ran all of his business adventures?

BLOODSHED IN IRAQ DISMISSED AS "JUST A COMMA"

According to Antiwar.com there has been 2199 American deaths since the War in Iraq began in 2003.

Our President said that "I like to tell people when the final history is written on Iraq, it will look like just a comma because there is-my point is, there's a strong will for democracy".

Amreica, am I the only one that don't get it or what?

How can this man who got out of Vietnam see NY Times, but has the nerve to start a war that didn't need to be and killed our sons and daughters, then dismiss it with a comma.

WHY HAS ABC DECIDED TO BLAME CLINTON AND NOT BUSH?

ABC has promoted a documentary based on the 9/11 Commission's report, it contains fabricated scenes, which cast the Clinton administration officials in a negative light.

Letters have been written by both former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and former National Security Adviser Samuel Berger. The letter calls on Thomas Kean, 9/11 Commission Chairman and co-executive producer of Path to 9/11, to exert his “influence to persuade ABC to withdraw the broadcast.

John Beug, the widowed husband of Carolyn Beug who was on the plane that slammed into 1 World Trade Center, has written a letter to ABC chief Bob Iger pleading with him not to run the film.

September 9, 2006

Dear Mr. Iger,

I have seen the advertisements for and read the press coverage of ABC’s film, “The Path to 9/11,” that your network plans to air this Sunday and Monday to coincide with the fifth anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks. I am writing to express my concern and deep reservations about this film and to ask you, out of respect for the victims of 9/11 and their families, not to air it.

My wife worked for the Walt Disney Corporation and was a victim of the terrorist attacks as a passenger on American Airlines Flight 11. I have great respect for you and your company and I know that you must have worked hard to make a good film. Admittedly, I have not seen it. However, accounts from those who have suggest that it contains inaccurate and invented scenes. It seems to me that fictionalizing this tragedy does not honor the memory of those who were lost on September 11th.

Given the gravity of this event for our nation and the personal loss I suffered, I believe it is critically important that we do everything possible to prevent another 9/11. That begins with making sure that we are united in our understanding of what we could have done better in the years, months and weeks leading up to the attacks of 2001. I am deeply concerned that Americans will watch this film and not fully understand –- or be led to misunderstand -– the true history of this tragedy.

I feel the 9/11 Commission Report was a correct and very responsible accounting of the terrorist attacks of 2001. Since “The Path to 9/11” deviates from this report in key instances, I strongly and respectfully urge you not to air this film.

Sincerely,

John Beug

Keith Obermann suggest that Bush and his minions have used bogus terrorist threats to distact public attention from embarrassing political news.

Ive tried to inform Republicans as to President Bush lies in my four (4), post called "Case in Point".

No one made a comment as to what they really thought was going on with this President.

As George Bush said, "Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me --- you can't get fooled again."

That's just what's been going on with the Republican Party, fooled, fooled and shame on you.

You couldn't get enough of calling former President Clinton a liar and how he lacked morals, yet you are willing to take in everything President Bush and his Administration say to you as gospel.

As George Bush said, "Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me --- you can't get fooled again." But you Republicans did.

A CASE OF MORALS

Click Photo

I would like to believe that every man and woman on this earth has some type of morals and if not, I know that GOD will deal with that.

I just can't see how just 7 years ago every Evangelical Christian, Republican and Neocon was talking about how former President Clinton lacked morals and how America needed a person in the White House with those qualities.

Well now that we have a Republican in office and a majority House and Senate, my question is where's the morals of these people?

I'm not GOD, so I'm not going to condemn anyone, but there seems to be a decay in this President morals, that's if he had any in the first place.

We always hear this man say, the war in Iraq is a war on terror. Now who can still say that he is right?

I don't believe anyone in this Administration, House or Senate seems to be honest and frank with the American People and I don't think they have our best interest at heart.

Did you know that former President Bush is The man who originally recruited Hussein as an American ally. He thought Hussein would go against the Islamic fundamentalism of Iran and he did.

Our President has yet to give us the truth and moral reasons as to why we went to war with Iraq. Don't that bother you America?

We have lost over 2,600 Americans, 19,000 have been injured and we have given away over $320 billion for Bush lies.

Where's the morals when Bush and his Administraion, the House and the Senate cut funds that would help Americans who are less fortunate, because he has us in a wasteful mess in Iraq.

Where's the morals when he tells us that we fight them over their, so that we don't have to fight them over here. Our so called Homeland security is being underfunded and short changed by the Iraq war.

This President tells us that all Americans must do their part, then he gives tax breaks to the rich. $285 billion over five years, not including an expected extension of the Alternative Minimum Tax - would more than negate the savings from cuts to domestic programs, which largely benefit low- and middle-income Americans.

Just last Month the House passed a bill that would give a death tax to the rich. This was done on the back of a minimum wage increase for the average American and Bush supported this. Where's the morals ?

Where's the morals when the Bush administration eased rules on reporting legal toxin releases which has compromised the public's right to know about possible health risks in their neighborhoods.

Where's the morals when Bush's EPA was to busy to set toxic air pollution standards for literally dozens of industries, including manufacturers of plastics, paints, chemicals and pesticides. It seems that they were to busy cutting deals with the polluters.

Bush told us that he didn't know how bad Hurrcane Katrina would be, then we find out In the 48 hours before Hurricane Katrina hit, the White House received detailed warnings about the storm's likely impact, including eerily prescient predictions of breached levees, massive flooding, and major losses of life and property, documents show. Where's the morals?

Any time people oppose this man and his administration, they are destroyed by Fox News, Talk Radio, his Administration and the Republican party, just look at how they destroyed Valerie Plame just because President Bush directed Cheney to counter what former Ambassador Joseph C. Wilson had said about the war in Iraq and yellowcake.

Now do you really think that former President Clinton morals were worse than the President we have in office now?

CONGRESS WILLING TO SUPPORT THE PRESIDENT WITH MONEY TO FIGHT IN IRAQ BUT NOT FOR THE TROOPS INJURED

See Original Story

George Zitnay, co-founder of the Brain Injury Center, asked for $19 million, and 34 Democratic and six Republican members of Congress signed a letter endorsing the budget request.

Zitnay said that body armor saves troops caught in blasts but leaves many with brain damage. "Traumatic brain injury is the signature injury of the war on terrorism," he testified before a Senate subcommittee in May.

Preliminary research by the center shows that about 10% of all troops in Iraq, and up to 20% of front line infantry troops, suffer concussions during combat tours. Many experience headaches, disturbed sleep, memory loss and behavior issues after coming home, the research shows.

The center urged the Pentagon to screen all troops returning from Iraq in order to treat symptoms and create a database of brain injury victims. Scientists say multiple concussions can cause permanent brain damage.

Now why is it that we can pay for a war, but refuse to take care of the injured when they are no longer able to fight for this country America?

172nd Stryker Brigade, "How come we are just being told"

click photo

The Alaska-based 172nd Stryker Brigade based in the Mosul area of Iraq were told that instead of going home after a year they would stay in Iraq for four more months.

The response from the troops were, "How come you're just now telling us?"

The commander of the U.S. forces in Iraq requested to extend their deployment and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld approved it.

I thought we were going to cut back on the troops in Iraq this year?

Is this right to do to a brigade after spending a year in Iraq, just to increased the brigades from 15 to 16?

Just last thursday a soldier from the 172nd from Maine was killed in the town of Bayji.

I can't understand this, what say you America?

In the conduct of the office of President of the United States, George Herbert Walker Bush, in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has planned, prepared, and conspired to commit crimes against the peace by leading the United States into aggressive war against Iraq in violation of Article 2(4) of the United Nations Charter, the Nuremberg Charter, other international instruments and treaties, and the Constitution of the United States. President Bush
was born on July 6, 1946, in New Haven, Connecticut, and grew up in Midland and Houston, Texas.

For some reason almost at the age of 60 he like his counterpart Dick Cheney , who is 65 think that they can take it with them.

They are both set for life and want even more judging by the political decisions they make and the way they walk all over the constitution and the American people.

With the help of Fox News, Rush and all the conservative talk radio host, the Republican House and Senate, and the conservative Press. This man has made the American People fools.

We believe any and everything he tells us. President Bush told prosecutors he directed Cheney to disclose classified information that would not only defend his administration but also discredit Wilson. He lied to us for two years with the help of Fox and his Administration.

In November we can put a stop to some of this madness, what say you America?

CASE IN POINT PART 5/ "WE'RE GOING TO CATCH THE GUYS THAT KNOCKED DOWN THESE BUILDINGS"

The top people in al-Qaeda are out there somewhere in Pakistan and yet we're stuck in Iraq. the President said at 9/11 "We're going to catch the guys that knocked down these buildings," but we have lost that pursuit. The top people in al-Qaeda are still in force.

Tell me why and how did we end up in Iraq, with all our forces? take a look at the people who killed Americans on 9/11:

American Airlines Flight 11
Waleed Alshehri, 22, from Saudi Arabia
Wail Alshehri, 28, from Saudi Arabia
Abdulaziz Alomari, 22, from Saudi Arabia

August 6, 2001: President Bush receives classified intelligence briefings at his Crawford, Texas ranch indicating that bin Laden might be planning to hijack commercial airliners. The memo read to him is titled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in US", and the entire memo focuses on the possibility of terrorist attacks inside the US. National Security Advisor Rice later claims the memo was "fuzzy and thin" and only 1 and a half pages long (his normal daily security briefings run two or three pages). The contents have never been made public. However, a Congressional report later describes what is likely this memo (they call it "a closely held intelligence report for senior government officials" presented in early August 2001): it mentions "that members of al-Qaeda, including some US citizens, had resided in or traveled to the US for years and that the group apparently maintained a support structure here. The report cited uncorroborated information obtained in 1998 that Osama bin Laden wanted to hijack airplanes to gain the release of US-held extremists; FBI judgments about patterns of activity consistent with preparations for hijackings or other types of attacks and the number of bin Laden-related investigations underway; as well as information acquired in May 2001 that indicated a group of bin Laden supporters was planning attacks in the US with explosives." [Senate Intelligence Committee, 9/18/02] Incredibly, the New York Times later reports that Bush "broke off from work early and spent most of the day fishing"

May 15, 2002: The Bush Administration is embarrassed when the CBS Evening News reveals that Bush had been warned about al-Qaeda domestic attacks in August 2001. Bush had repeatedly said that he had "no warning" of any kind.

Remember President Bush spent most of August 2001 at his Crawford, Texas, ranch, nearly setting a record for the longest presidential vacation. While it is billed a "working vacation."

REPUBLICANS AND THIS ADMINISTRATION FULL OF CRAP!

Delay: It's not politics; This is war.

Matthews: It's not politics?

Delay: The American people understand the real war...

Matthews: You don't think Karl Rove is behind this and saying, "Hey put in more fire, shoot'em again, keep this going a couple of weeks"?

Delay: Absolutely not. This is war. The New York Times has undermined our national security and there ought to be consequences. It has nothing to do with politics.

Matthews: So you're against leaking?

Delay: Yes, I'm against leaking.

Matthews: All leaking by the administration. So even this thing with the CIA agent shouldn't have been leaked?

Delay: Absolutely not.

Matthews: So guys like Rove shouldn't have been talking to the papers... and people like Scooter Libby shouldn't have been talking;... I'm asking you.

Delay: I'm not gonna... I'm not a [???]; I'm not a judge.

Matthews: You said you were against leaking

Delay: You said something that Karl Rove is not being commited of, convicted of...

Matthews: He never denied it, and nobody is going to contest it. It's public record that he leaked.

Delay: It's just you saying that he is guilty.

Matthews: I am not saying it's a crime. I'm saying he leaked.

Delay: How do you know he leaked?

Matthews: Because it's the public record now that he leaked (laughs in frustration)! That doesn't bother you?

Delay: No! Leaking national security secrets at a time of war is outrageous and shouldn't be done.

Matthews: But not the identity of a CIA agent?

Delay: We can spend an hour on that. Valerie Plame was not a CIA agent.

Matthews: What was she?

Delay: (dismissively) She was behind a desk over at Langley.

Matthews: But was her classification undercover? She deep background?

Delay: Yes, but she was not an out-in-the field CIA agent, and that's what the law is all about
.

What a bunch of crap from a party that has put this country in the shape that it's in now.

We have a President that see fault in a paper that talks about SWIFT, which everyone already knows about, a President who gives the green light for his Administration to go after Valerie Plame.

A WORD FOR THE REPUBLICAN VOTERS

Former Assistant Secretary of State for Intelligence and Research Carl Ford, appearing before the The Senate Democratic Policy Committee, called upon policy makers to accept part of the blame for intelligence failures, telling them to "not accept the crap we give you."

When you go to the ballot box in November, remember who has given you a bunch of crap with this pre-war intelligence in Iraq and this lack of scrutiny of Iraq intelligence by the Republican-led Senate.

WHAT A WAY TO SAY HOW MUCH YOU CARE!

This is what we got from our House and Senate last week. They passed a bill to cut the estate tax for the rich and famous, while the wage increase for the have nots, just slip right on away.
I find this administration, this House and this Senate offensive to the American People, who voted these people into office for the best of this country, not for the best of the rich in this country.

When in the world will the Republican party wake up and see that this Administration, House and Senate, are not for us average folks, but for the very rich and well to do. Am I the only one to see this? Am I wrong?

What in God's name is going on, when a group of people continue to vote for a party that is clearly not for the average person, but for the rich. Wake up America, open your eye's, unstop your ears and please see and hear what this Administration, this Republican House and this Republican Senate has done to the average people in this country for the benefit for the rich.

Remember the federal minimum wage has been locked in at $5.15/hour for the past nine years. Only States with the mandate to do the right thing on their agenda, has raised the minimum wage. Our House and Senate has constantly raised their salaries every year right, to compensate for inflation. I guess to them it just dont matter when it comes to compensating for the average workers inflation.

I hear people argue that, small business can not stay in business or stay together, if we raise the minimum wage.

Well I'll just say that if a business can not stay afloat because of a better wage for the average worker, then that business shouldn't hire workers or maybe they shouldn't be in business at all. How can you go into business for yourself, but not be able to pay a decent salary to your employees?

What say you America?
